Stolarz is in the starter's crease at Toronto's morning skate.

The Maple Leafs are leading their series 1-0 over the Ottawa Senators and will likely roll with Stolarz between the pipes. The 31-year-old Stolarz was excellent in his Game 1 victory, saving 31 of 33 shots (.939 SV%) in a 6-2 win, the first playoff victory of his career. Dating back to the end of the regular season, Stolarz has been outstanding, winning seven straight while allowing only eight combined goals and posting an absurd .961 SV%. The Maple Leafs enter Game 2 on Tuesday as -163 home favorites against the Senators.

Anthony Stolarz
Frederic (ankle) will play in Game 1 in Los Angeles.

Frederic has battled an ankle injury for nearly two months, returning to the lineup for a one-game stint in early April, but was sidelined after reaggravating the ailment. He will return to the ice for Game 1 against the Los Angeles Kings, providing a physical boost to the Oilers roster. The 27-year-old Frederic had 15 points (8G / 7A) and 157 hits in 58 games this season.

Wood will draw into the Avalanche lineup for Game 2 in Dallas.

After much speculation that Gabriel Landeskog (knee) could draw in for Ross Colton (lower-body), it will in fact be Miles Wood that enters Colorado's lineup. Wood finished the regular season with four goals and four assists in 37 games.

Miles Wood
Landeskog (knee) is listed as a scratch on the official roster report.

Landeskog has not played in an NHL game since the 2021-22 season, but appeared in two AHL games during a conditioning loan this month. The Avalanche did not confirm that he would play, but stated he was an option to replace Ross Colton if Colton is unable to go. Ultimately, it will be Miles Wood that replaces Colton on Monday.

Gabriel Landeskog
Oettinger will start Game 2 against the Avalanche.

Despite his struggles in the opening game of the series, the Stars will unsurprisingly stick with their franchise netminder between the pipes for Game 2. Oettinger was thoroughly outplayed by Mackenzie Blackwood in that first game, allowing four goals on just 23 shots. It was the continuation of a season-ending slump for Oettinger, who has now posted an 0-4-1 record and an .841 SV% in his last five starts. The Stars enter action on Monday as slight underdogs at +125 on the money line.

Jake Oettinger
Blackwood will start Game 2 in Dallas.

Blackwood was outstanding in Saturday's Game 1 victory over the Dallas Stars and will return to the crease on Monday for Game 2. The 28-year-old Blackwood faced several high-danger chances, saving 23 of 24 shots (.958 SV%), including several early before the game became out of reach in an eventual 5-1 victory. Colorado enters game two as -148 road favorites against Dallas.

Mackenzie Blackwood
Hellebuyck will start Game 2 against the Blues.

The Jets will of course stick with the reigning Vezina Trophy winner between the pipes for Game 2. Hellebuyck did not turn in his best performance in Game 1, allowing three goals on just 17 shots, but still managed to come away with the 5-3 victory. The 31-year-old netminder finished the regular season with an astounding 47-12-3 record and a .925 SV%. Winnipeg enters action on Monday as sizable favourites at -190 on the money line.

Connor Hellebuyck
Binnington will start Game 1 in Winnipeg.

As expected, the Blues will stay with Binnington between the pipes for the second game of their first round matchup with the Jets. Binnington did not have his best performance in Game 1, allowing four goals on 25 shots in the eventual 5-3 defeat. The 31-year-old netminder started 54 regular season games for the Blues, posting a 28-22-5 record and a .900 SV%. The Blues enter action on Monday at +160 on the money line.

Jordan Binnington
Montembeault will start Game 1 in Washington.

The Canadiens will unsurprisingly turn to Montembeault between the pipes for Game 1 of their first round matchup against the Capitals. Montembeault was fantastic in Montreal's playoff clinching win over the Hurricanes on Wednesday, allowing just two goals on 31 shots. The 28-year-old netminder finished the regular season with a 31-24-7 record and a .901 SV%. Montembeault and the Habs enter the action on Monday at +150 on the money line.

Sam Montembeault
Thompson will start Game 1 against the Canadiens.

Thompson has not played since April 2nd, recovering from an upper-body injury, but has practiced the last several days. The 28-year-old Thompson had an outstanding 2024-25 campaign, his first with the Capitals, posting a 2.49 GAA and .910 SV% in 43 games (31-6-6). That said, he struggled in the latter half of the season, posting a 3.22 GAA and .877 SV% in his final 13 appearances (7-4-2). The Capitals enter Game One against the Montreal Canadiens as -179 home favorites

Logan Thompson
The Avalanche have activated Gabriel Landeskog (knee) from LTIR.

Landeskog has not played in an NHL game since the 2021-22 season, but appeared in two AHL games during a conditioning loan this month. The Avalanche did not confirm that he would play, but he is an option to replace Ross Colton if Colton is unable to go, which seems more likely after being activated from LTIR.

Gabriel Landeskog
Blackwood is expected to start Game 2 in Dallas.

Blackwood was outstanding in Saturday's Game 1 victory over the Dallas Stars and will likely return to the crease on Monday for Game 2. The 28-year-old Blackwood faced several high-danger chances, saving 23 of 24 shots (.958 SV%), including several early before the game became out of reach in an eventual 5-1 victory. Colorado enters game two as -148 road favorites against Dallas.

Mackenzie Blackwood
Walman will play in Game 1 in Los Angeles.

Walman did not play the Oilers' final five games this season, recovering from an undisclosed injury, but will return to the lineup for Game 1 against the Los Angeles Kings. The 29-year-old Walman was acquired at the trade deadline and scored eight points (1G / 7A) in 15 games with the Oilers.

Jake Walman
Frederic (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Game 1.

Frederic has battled an ankle injury for nearly two months, returning to the lineup for a one-game stint in early April, but was sidelined after reaggravating the ailment. He could return to the ice for Game 1 against the Los Angeles Kings, providing a physical boost to the Oilers roster. The 27-year-old Frederic had 15 points (8G / 7A) and 157 hits in 58 games this season.

Trent Frederic
Kuemper will start Game 1 vs. the Oilers.

Kuemper did not play the Kings' final two games of the season, but he will return to the crease for Game One against the Edmonton Oilers. The 34-year-old Kuemper sported one of the best seasons of his career, posting a stellar 2.02 GAA, .921 SV%, and five shutouts in 50 appearances (31-11-7). In addition, Kuemper was outstanding against the Oilers this season, posting a 1.05 GAA and .960 SV% in four games (3-1-0). The Kings enter Game One as -126 home favorites against the Oilers.
