Christian Wolanin has been reassigned to Abbotsford (AHL).

Wolanin had three assists, 16 SOG, four PIMs and a +5 plus/minus through 16 games with Vancouver but will head back to Abbotsford (AHL) as the Canucks' season comes to a close. The 28-year-old returns to the minors, where he was on fire previously, with six goals, 55 points, and a +12 plus/minus in 49 games played.

Andrew Cogliano did not travel to Nashville and will be out Friday (upper-body).

Cogliano left the Avalanches' game Thursday vs. Winnipeg after just three shifts and 1:11 TOI due to an upper-body injury and will not play Friday as the team takes on Nashville. The 35-year-old is considered day-to-day as the Avalanche head into the playoffs and finishes his 2022-23 season with 10 goals, 9 assists, 85 SOG, 44 PIMs and a +6 plus/minus through 79 games this season.

Alex Galchenyuk has been recalled from the Colorado Eagles (AHL) and is expected to suit up Friday vs. Nashville.

Galchenyuk had 16 goals, 25 assists, 18 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus in 41 games with the Colorado Eagles (AHL) and has been recalled to the Avalanche on Friday. The 29-year-old returns to the Avalanche, where he has yet to pick up a point but has eight shots and a -6 plus/minus through 10 games during a spell earlier in the season.

Mathew Barzal is expected to return to the Islanders' lineup for Game 1 vs. Carolina (lower-body).

Barzal has been out since February 18th due to a lower-body injury and skated with the Islanders for the first time since his injury. The 25-year-old is expected to make his long-awaited return for Game 1 vs. Carolina after putting up 14 goals, 51 points, 139 SOG, 22 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus through 58 games played prior to his injury.

Damien Giroux has been reassigned to Iowa (AHL).

Giroux picked up an assist on 13:57 TOI with two PIMs in his first NHL game Thursday vs. Nashville but has been reassigned to Iowa (AHL) on Friday. The 23-year-old returns to Iowa, where he had three goals, 18 assists, 28 PIMs and a -5 plus/minus through 65 games this season.

Marco Rossi has been reassigned to Iowa (AHL).

Rossi had an assist, 13 SOG, eight PIMs and a -7 plus/minus across 19 games with Minnesota but has been reassigned to Iowa (AHL) on Friday. The 21-year-old returns to the minors, where he had 16 goals, 50 points and a 46 PIMs across 51 games played.

Swaney made his NHL debut Thursday, playing 9:33 TOI while failing to pick up a point in his limited game action and has been reassigned to Iowa (AHL) on Friday. The 25-year-old returns to Iowa (AHL), where he had 16 goals and 28 points in 46 games prior to his call-up.

Walker has a goal, two points, eight SOG and a -1 plus/minus through nine games this season with Minnesota but has been reassigned to Iowa (AHL) on Friday. The 23-year-old returns to Iowa, where he had 26 goals, 20 assists, 23 PIMs and a +18 plus/minus through 54 games played prior to his call up.

Zherenko, unfortunately, did not get to see any NHL action during his callup to the Blues and has been reassigned to Springfield (AHL) Friday for their playoff push. The 22-year-old returns to Springfield, where he was 10-8-3 with a .918 SV% and 2.96 GAA as the backup for the Thunderbirds.

Tyler Tucker has been reassigned to Springfield (AHL).

Tucker had a goal, three assists, 21 SOG, 31 PIMs and a -9 plus/minus through 26 games this season with St. Louis but has been reassigned to Springfield (AHL) for their playoff push. The 23-year-old returns to Springfield, where he had three goals, 18 assists, 77 PIMs and a +18 plus/minus through 39 games prior to his call-up.

Korpisalo led the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Korpisalo was perfect, stopping 20 of 20 shots for his first shutout of the season as he blanked the Vancouver Canucks in his previous start. The 28-year-old has been phenomenal since being acquired close to the trade deadline, posting a 6-3-1 record, .926 SV% and 2.03 GAA. He takes on the Anaheim Ducks, who are in the midst of a 12-game losing streak and are second last in the NHL in goals per game (2.51).

Georgiev will start Thursday vs. the Jets.

Georgiev allowed two goals on 40 shots (.950 SV%) to snap a four-game winning streak as he lost in overtime to the Edmonton Oilers last start. The 27-year-old has been sensational in his first season in Colorado and as a starter, with his 38-16-6 record, 2.53 GAA, .919 SV%. He will take on the Winnipeg Jets, who have won their last three games and are 21st in the NHL in goals (3.01).
