Mattias Janmark will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday, allowing Gagner to re-enter the Oilers' lineup. Gagner has not played in four straight games for the Oilers and is expected to emerge on their fourth line with Derek Ryan and Connor Brown.

Hertl last played on January 27th and sat out for two games before participating in the All-Star game. The Sharks have not played since and announced on Monday that Hertl will undergo a surgical procedure on his left knee that will keep him out of the lineup for several weeks. Hertl had 15 goals, 34 points, 113 SOG, 22 PIMs and a -26 plus/minus in 48 games before his injury. With Mikael Granlund nearing a return, offensive responsibilities will fall heavily on him and Logan Couture.
Fabbri will be away from the team for the Tuesday night game against the Edmonton Oilers as he tends to personal matters, but could rejoin the club for their Thursday contest against the Vancouver Canucks. Fabbri has struggled offensively lately, scoring only one point (0G / 1A) in his last seven games.
Harkins played 5:37 time-on-ice on Saturday but was unavailable at practice on Monday after being diagnosed with a concussion and placed on Injured Reserve. Harkins has gone eight games without recording a point.
Schultz did not play on Saturday to attend to personal matters but is expected to play on Tuesday against the New Jersey Devils. The 33-year-old Schultz has zero points and six shots on goal in his last three games.
Soucy has not played since suffering a hand injury on January 20th and has been retroactively placed on Injured Reserve. A steadying presence on the blue line, Soucy has been limited to only 21 games this season due to an earlier lower-body injury and is three weeks into his original five-to-six-week prognosis. With Carson Soucy (hand) being placed on IR, Vancouver recalled Woo from Abbotsford (AHL). Woo was the 37th overall pick of the Canucks in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft but has yet to play a game at the NHL level. The 23-year-old defender has 16 points (5G / 11A) in 42 games with Abbotsford.
Woll has not played since December 7th due to an ankle injury, but his presence at practice is an encouraging sign for the Maple Leafs. When the 25-year-old returns to the lineup, he will be looking to build off his strong start to the season and add to his 8-5-1 record, 2.80 GAA, and .916 SV%.
Chinakhov played only 8:40 time-on-ice before exiting Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning with an upper-body injury. He will not play on Tuesday but could return on Saturday against the San Jose Sharks. The 23-year-old Chinakhov is enjoying his best season, scoring 24 points (14G / 10A) in 40 games thus far.
Tinordi did not play on Friday due to a groin strain and has been in and out of the lineup the last month dealing with several different injuries. The 31-year-old Tinordi has six points (0G / 6A), 100 hits, and 62 blocks in 32 games this season.
Kampf has not played since the All-Star break but appears to be nearing a return to the Maple Leafs' lineup as he is expected to return Tuesday but will remain a game-time decision. The bottom-six forward has one assist in his last 10 games played and is having a down season by his standards with just four goals, eight points, and a -9 plus/minus in 46 games before his injury.
Willman has not played the last two games for the Devils and has been placed on waivers, likely to make space to recall a netminder in response to Vitek Vanecek dealing with an injury. The 28-year-old Willman has two points (1G / 1A) in 13 games with the Devils this season.
Ruzicka had been held without a point in 10 straight games, leading to him being placed on waivers by the Calgary Flames three weeks ago and ultimately being claimed by the Coyotes. The 24-year-old Slovak was the fourth-round pick of the Flames in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft and will make his Coyotes debut on Monday. He had 40 points (14G / 26A) in 114 career games with the Flames.
Vejmelka has seen limited action between the pipes lately but will start on Monday after repeated poor outings by Connor Ingram. Vejmelka saved all 28 shots he faced entering Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights in relief of Connor Ingram, who allowed three goals on six shots (.500 SV%) in the first period. It's not the first time Ingram has faltered this season, but Vejmelka has failed to take advantage of each opportunity to impress the Coyotes coaching staff. The Coyotes are +135 road underdogs against a Philidelphia Flyers squad riding a three-game winning streak.
Vanecek was excellent in a losing effort over the weekend, allowing one goal on 32 shots (.969 SV%) in a 1-0 overtime loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. Nico Daws will start between the pipes on Monday night for the Devils, who will likely recall Akira Schmid from the AHL to serve as part of the Devils' tandem while Vanecek is unable to play.
Markstrom will start for the sixth straight game on Monday night as he and the Flames look to extend their winning streak to five games. After posting a pedestrian .896 SV% in his first 16 games (6-8-2), Markstrom has been a leading force in helping the Flames compete for a playoff position, posting an exceptional .936 SV% in his 16 games since (11-5-0). Head coach Jared Bednar stated that MacKinnon "should be good to go tomorrow" after missing practice Monday due to a chin injury which caused him to leave their game vs. Florida early. Jankowski was recalled along with Egor Afanasyev on Monday in moves corresponding to Philip Tomasino being reassigned to the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL). The 29-year-old Jankowski has 324 NHL games under his belt but has spent the majority of the 2023-24 campaign with Milwaukee in the AHL, scoring an impressive 47 points (15G / 32A) in 42 games.
