Hellebuyck stopped 33 of 35 shots (.943 SV%) for his second-straight victory as he beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in his previous start. The 29-year-old has been solid for the Jets all season long, with his 29-20- record, 2.64 GAA and .919 SV%. He takes on the league-leading Boston Bruins, who have surprisingly lost three of their last four games but are still second in the NHL in goals per game (3.73).

The Predators have reassigned Egor Afanasyev to Milwaukee (AHL).

Afanasyev failed to pick up a point in three games with the Nashville Predators and will return to Milwaukee (AHL) Thursday after being reassigned to the minors. The 22-year-old returns to the AHL, where he had 13 goals and 13 assists, across 55 games played prior to his callup.

The Predators have recalled Michael McCarron from Milwaukee (AHL).

McCarron had two goals, six points and 19 PIMs across 13 games with the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) and has been recalled to Nashville Thursday. The 28-year-old returns to the Predators, where he had a goal and an assist to go along with 24 PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 19 games this season.

Bobrovsky will start Thursday vs. the Canadiens.

Bobrovsky allowed five goals on 27 shots (.815 SV%) to snap a three-game winning streak with a loss to Winnipeg his last time starting. The 34-year-old has had a below-average season by his standards, with his 21-7-3 record, 2.98 GAA and .904 SV%. He will take on the Montreal Canadiens, who snapped a seven-game losing streak after a 6-4 win over Pittsburgh last game.

Joseph (lower-body) is expected to miss a couple of weeks.

Joseph left the Senators' game Tuesday vs. Calgary after just 2:38 TOI due to a lower-body injury and is now expected to miss a couple of weeks. The 26-year-old has three goals, 14 assists, 53 SOG, 34 PIMs and a +6 plus/minus through 47 games played prior to his injury.

Chabot missed the Senators' previous game due to an undisclosed injury and will be a game-time decision Thursday vs. Colorado after partaking in the morning skate. The 26-year-old has nine goals, 27 assists, 158 SOG, 50 PIMs and a -13 plus/minus through 61 games played prior to the injury.

The Senators recalled Ridly Greig from Belleville (AHL).

Greig is back with the Senators and is skating on the second line with Alex DeBrincant and Claude Giroux in the Senators morning skate. The 20-year-old picked up one goal and three assists (four points) with Ottawa earlier in the season, spending most of the year in the AHL. He has 27 points (13G / 14A) in 35 games with Belleville.

Sogaard allowed five goals on 32 shots (.844 SV%) for his second straight defeat as he was downed by the Edmonton Oilers in his last start. The 22-year-old will be relied upon heavily through the final month of hockey and will hope to improve his 5-3-1 record, 3.28 GAA and .888 SV%. He will face the Colorado Avalanche, who are coming off a tight 2-1 victory over Toronto on Wednesday.

The Wild signed Hunter Haight to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Haight has 19 goals, 36 assists, 14 PIMs and is a -11 plus/minus through 59 games with the Saginaw Spirit (OHL) and Barrie Colts (OHL) and has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Minnesota. The 18-year-old is Minnesota's 2022 second-round pick (47th overall).

The Blues have signed Michael Buchinger to a three-year entry-level contract.

Buchinger has 15 goals, 60 points, 56 PIMs and is a -7 plus/minus through 56 games with the Guelph Storm (OHL) and has signed a three-year entry-level contract with St. Louis. The 18-year-old was St. Louis' 2022 third-round pick (88th overall).

The Wild signed Caedan Bankier to a three-year, entry-level contract starting with the 2023-24 season.

Bankier has 35 goals, 78 points, 16 PIMs and a +33 plus/minus through 51 games with the Kamloops Blazers (WHL) and has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Minnesota wild that starts in the 2023-24 season. The 20-year-old was the Wild's 2021 third-round pick (86th overall).
