The 33-year-old has improved his numbers as of late, which has led to a 13-4-0 record, 2.52 GAA and .903 SV%. He will take on the St. Louis Blues, who lost their last two games and are 28th in the NHL in shots per game (28.9).

Kuemper allowed four goals on 35 shots (.886 SV%) for his third-straight loss as he was defeated by Carolina in his previous start. The 32-year-old has played well despite his losing record in his first season in Washington, with his 16-17-4 record, 2.67 GAA and .914 SV%. He will face the surprisingly hot Detroit Red Wings, who just snapped a five-game winning streak with a 4-2 loss vs. Seattle last game.

Vanecek stopped 29 of 31 shots (.935 SV%) for his 12th win in 13 games as he beat Pittsburgh in his previous start. The 27-year-old has been incredible in his first season in New Jersey, with his 24-5-3 record, 2.30 GAA and .917 SV%. He will take on the Montreal Canadiens, who have lost their last two games and are 29th in the NHL in goals per game (2.63).

Justus Annunen has been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles (AHL).

Annunen played great in his only start of the season with the Avalanche, stopping 19 of 20 shots (.950 SV%) for his first win of the season against St. Louis. With Colorado not playing until Friday, he has been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles (AHL) for the time being.

Travis Konecny is out of Tuesday's game vs. Edmonton with an upper-body injury.

Konecny left the Flyers' previous game vs. Calgary after 12:40 TOI due to an upper-body injury and will now be forced to miss Tuesday's game against the Oilers. The 25-year-old leads all Flyers players with 27 goals, 54 points and a -10 plus/minus through 52 games played this season.

Axel Jonsson-Fjallby has been recalled from the Manitoba Moose (AHL) on an emergency basis.

Jonsson-Fjallby has three goals, one assist and two PIMs across four games played with the Manitoba Moose (AHL) but will head back to Winnipeg where he has spent majority of the season. In 45 games with the Jets this season, the 25-year-old has four goals, 11 points and 51 SOG.

Aliaksei Protas has been reassigned to the Hershey Bears (AHL).

Protas had three goals, seven assists, 55 SOG. and six PIMs through 43 games with the Capitals but has been reassigned to the Hershey Bears (AHL) on Tuesday. He returns to Hershey, where he had two goals and five points across eight games played earlier in the year.

Hart is expected to start Tuesday in Edmonton.

Hart allowed four goals on 21 shots (.810 SV%) for his third straight loss as he was defeated by Vancouver in his previous start. The 24-year-old has gotten little help despite his strong play this season, leading to a 16-17-9 record, 2.88 GAA and .910 SV%. He takes on the Edmonton Oilers, who are in the middle of a four-game losing skid after their 6-5 overtime loss to Colorado last game.

Nick Cicek has been reassigned to the San Jose Barracuda (AHL).

Cicek has four assists, 15 PIMs, and a -7 plus/minus through 16 games with San Jose but has been reassigned to the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) Tuesday. The 22-year-old heads back to the Barracuda where had an assist, 20 PIMs and a -11 plus/minus through 21 games.

Michael Stone has been placed on the injured reserve (lower-body).

Stone has five goals, five assists, 86 SOG, 35 PIMs and a +2 plus/minus through 46 games and missed Monday's game vs. Philadelphia with a lower-body injury. Dennis Gilbert will be taking his spot in the Flames' lineup for the foreseeable future.
