Jakub Vrana has been recalled from Grand Rapids (AHL).

Vrana had six goals, five assists, four PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 17 games played with Grand Rapids (AHL) and has been called up Tuesday for the second time this season. Vrana had a goal and two points in two games prior to entering the NHL and NHLPA's Player Assistance Program on October 19th.

Eetu Makiniemi has been recalled from the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) and will back up on Tuesday.

Makiniemi has an 8-10-3 record, .900 SV% and 2.96 GAA with the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) and has been recalled to the Sharks for the second time this season. In his previous stint with the Sharks this season, he had a 1-0-1 record, .906 SV%, 2.13 GAA.

Sam Steel will return to the Wilds' lineup on Wednesday vs. Colorado (undisclosed).

Steel missed the Wilds' previous game due to an undisclosed injury but is expected to return to the lineup Wednesday as they take on Colorado. The 25-year-old has been fitting in well in his first year in Minnesota, with eight goals, 14 assists, 68 SOG and a +8 plus/minus through 52 games prior to the injury.

Knight will likely start Tuesday in St. Louis.

Knight allowed four goals on 33 shots (.879 SV%) for his fourth loss in five starts as he was defeated by Dallas in his previous start. The 21-year-old has had an up-and-down season, which led to his 9-7-3 record, 3.05 GAA and .906 SV%. He takes on the St. Louis Blues, who snapped a five-game losing streak with a win over Arizona in their previous game.

Spencer Knight
Paul (upper-body) is expected to be back in the Lightning lineup on Tuesday.

Paul has missed the Lightnings' previous two games due to an upper-body injury but is expected back in the lineup Tuesday vs. Colorado. The 27-year-old has 16 goals, 10 assists, 80 SOG, 23 PIMs and a +10 plus/minus through 50 games prior to the injury.

DeSmith was the first goalie off the ice at the Penguins morning skate.

DeSmith was pulled in his previous start after allowing three goals on 15 shots (.800 SV%) for his first loss in three starts as he was defeated by the Los Angeles Kings. The 31-year-old Penguins backup has not been great this season, with his 9-11-4 record, 3.30 GAA and .903 SV%. He's taking on the San Jose Sharks, who have won three of their last four games after a 4-1 victory over Washington their last time out.

Labanc will draw back into the Sharks lineup on Tuesday.

Labanc has surprisingly been a healthy scratch for the Sharks' previous four games but will draw back into the lineup Tuesday as they take on the Washington Capitals. The 27-year-old right winger has 10 goals, 15 assists, 83 SOG, 22 PIMs and a -3 plus/minus through 45 games played.

Beniers (lower-body) will play Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Beniers has 17 goals, 19 assists, 97 SOG, and a +6 plus/minus through 51 games this season and was not 100% to play Tuesday but has announced he will play while dealing with what was a lower-body injury. The 20-year-old is very much in the hunt for the Calder Trophy this season.

Vasilevskiy was the first goalie of the ice at the Lightning morning skate.

Vasilevskiy stopped 28 of 29 shots (.966 SV%) for his fifth win in six starts as he defeated the Dallas Stars in his last start. The 28-year-old has led the NHL in wins the last five seasons and finds himself one win off the lead again this season with his 25-13-1 record, 2.52 GAA and .919 SV%. He will take on the Colorado Avalanche, who won their last game 5-3 vs. Florida and are seventh in the NHL in shots (33.3).

Dell was the first goalie off the ice at the Sharks morning skate.

Dell stopped all eight of eight shots in a perfect relief appearance his last time out as he took on the Washington Capitals. The 33-year-old has been up and down all season from the AHL, leading to a 0-2-0 record, .908 SV% and 3.00 GAA. He takes on the Pittsburgh Penguins, who lost their previous game 6-0 to Los Angeles but is eighth in the NHL in shots per game (33.3).

Aaron Dell
Binnington will start Tuesday vs. the Panthers.

Binnington allowed five goals on 28 shots (.821 SV%) but snapped a four-game losing streak as he defeated Arizona is his previous start. The 29-year-old has had a horrendous season, leading to his .890 SV%, 3.31 GAA and 19-18-3 record. He takes on the Florida Panthers, who have won four of their last five games after a 2-1 victory over Minnesota last game.

Hellebuyck is under the weather and may not be available for Tuesday's game vs. Seattle.

Hellebuyck stopped 31 of 32 shots (.969 SV%) for his second-straight victory as he beat Chicago his previous time out. The 29-year-old has been in the Vezina Trophy conversation all season due to his impressive 25-15-1 record, 2.41 GAA and .924 SV%. If he is healthy and does start, then he will face the Seattle Kraken, who snapped a three-game losing skid with a 4-3 victory over Philadelphia last game and are fifth in the NHL in goals per game (3.49).

Georgiev is expected to start Tuesday vs. the Lightning.

Georgiev stopped 42 of 45 shots (.933 SV%) for his fifth win in six starts as he defeated the Florida Panthers in his previous start. The 27-year-old has been solid in his first full season as a starter, with his 21-12-3 record, 2.68 GAA and .917 SV%. He takes on the Tampa Bay Lightning, who have won their last two games after a 3-1 victory over Dallas last game and are fourth in the NHL in goals per game (3.58).

Alexandar Georgiev
Matthews (knee) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice; could return to the lineup on Wednesday.

Matthews has missed the Maple Leafs' previous five games due to a knee injury but could return to the lineup Wednesday as the team takes on the Chicago Blackhawks at home. The 2022 Rocket Richard Trophy winner had 25 goals, 53 points, 200 SOG, 16 PIMs and a +19 plus/minus through 47 games played prior to the injury.

Auston Matthews
The Avalanche have placed Erik Johnson (lower-body) on IR.

Johnson suffered a lower-body injury while blocking a shot on Saturday and will not be available for Tuesday's game vs. Tampa and has been placed on the injured reserve. Head coach Jared Bednar said they do not have a timeline for Johnson's return. The 34-year-old has seven assists across 51 games played this season.
