The Predators have recalled Philip Tomasino from Milwaukee (AHL).

Tomasino has 12 goals, 20 assists, 24 PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 38 games with Milwaukee (AHL) and has been recalled by Nashville Monday for the first time this season. The 21-year-old has previously played in 76 games last season, with 11 goals and 32 points.

Anton Forsberg won't require surgery but is considered out for at least two-to-three months (MCL).

Forsberg tore both MCLs in his knees in a scary injury Saturday vs. Edmonton. The 30-year-old goaltender will now miss the rest of the 2022-23 season as he is considered out for at least two-to-three months but will not require surgery. The 30-year-old netminder was 11-11-2 with a 3.26 GAA and .902 SV%.

Zaitsev will draw back into the Senators lineup on Monday.

Zaitsev has four assists, 10 SOG, eight PIMs and a -3 plus/minus through 23 games this season and will draw back into Ottawa's lineup Monday. The 31-year-old will be in the Senators' lineup for at least the next two weeks as he fills in for the injured Jake Sanderson.

Jake DeBrusk was a full participant in Monday's practice (hand) but is doubtful for Tuesday's game.

DeBrusk last played on January 2nd due to a hand injury but was a welcome full participant at Boston's practice Monday morning and is still doubtful to return to the lineup Tuesday vs. Dallas, but should be back Thursday. The 26-year-old had been enjoying somewhat of a breakout campaign, with his 16 goals and 30 points across 36 games prior to the injury.

Casey Cizikas is day-to-day with a non-covid related illness.

Cizikas has four goals, nine assists, 64 SOG, and 46 PIMs across 55 games played this season but may be forced to miss a game or two as he deals with a non-covid-related illness. Otto Koivula has been recalled in the meantime in case he is forced to miss any amount of time.

Samuel Bolduc has been reassigned to Bridgeport (AHL).

Bolduc had a goal, six SOG, two PIMs and a +2 plus/minus in his first career six-game stint with the New York Islanders but has been returned to Bridgeport (AHL) Monday. He returned to the minors, where he had eight goals and 26 points in 41 games played prior to his promotion.

Otto Koivula has been recalled from Bridgeport (AHL).

Koivula has 10 goals, 11 assists, 33 PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 42 games with Bridgeport (AHL) and has been recalled for the first time this season Monday. The 24-year-old left-winger has previously played in 20 games across two NHL seasons, picking up two assists and 12 SOG.

Alexander Steeves has been loaned to the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

Steeves got his first taste of NHL action this season over the weekend as he played in each of the Maple Leaf's games vs. Columbus and failed to pick up a point on three SOG. He heads back to the Marlies (AHL) for a few days as the Maple Leafs are off until Wednesday but is expected to be recalled when that date comes back around.

With the Toronto Maple Leafs off until Wednesday, Pontus Holmberg has been loaned to the Toronto Marlies (AHL). He should find himself back with the big club in no time, where he has five goals, eight assists, 22 SOG, and 12 PIMs across 35 games in his rookie campaign.

Sogaard will start Monday vs. the Flames.

Sogaard stopped all three of three shots he faced in his first career NHL appearance, a relief effort Saturday vs. Edmonton. The 22-year-old is making his first career start on Monday after posting a 6-9-2 record with the Belleville Senators (AHL). He takes on the Calgary Flames, who beat Buffalo 7-2 in their last game and are 2nd in the NHL in shots per game (35.5).
