Bemstrom was a healthy scratch for the Blue Jackets' previous game but will draw back into the lineup Friday as a replacement for the injured Gustav Nyquist (upper body). The 23-year-old has four goals, seven assists, 35 SOG, and a -4 plus/minus through 21 games played this year.

Bayreuther has been a healthy scratch for the Blue Jackets previous seven games but will find his way back into the lineup as he replaces Nick Blankenburg (upper body) Friday. The 28-year-old had two goals, three assists, 21 SOG and 13 PIMs through 19 games with the Blue Jackets this season.

Joonas Korpisalo will start Friday vs. Vancouver.

Korpisalo stopped 34 of 36 shots (.944 SV%) for his third win in five games as he beat Edmonton in his previous start. The 28-year-old has been Columbus' best goaltender by a mile, with his 8-8-2 record, 3.22 GAA and ..910 SV%. He takes on the Vancouver Canucks, who have lost eight of their last ten games after a 6-1 loss to Seattle on Wednesday.

The 33-year-old had 10 goals, 12 assists, 97 SOG, 16 PIMs and a -11 plus/minus through 48 games prior to the injury.

Beniers left the Krakens' previous game vs. Vancouver after 9:52 TOI due to an upper-body injury and will miss their next two games this weekend (Calgary and Columbus). He takes on the Florida Panthers, who have lost their last two games after a 7-6 overtime defeat to Pittsburgh in their last matchup.

Shea Theodore will return to the Golden Knights lineup Friday vs. the New York Rangers (leg).

Theodore hasn't played since Dec. 9th but will return to the Golden Knights lineup Friday from a leg injury after being a full participant in practice Thursday. Theodore had 22 points (4G / 18A) in 29 games before getting hurt on December 9th.

Lyon will likely start Friday vs. the Kings.

Lyon allowed seven goals on 49 shots (.857 SV%) for his second-straight loss as he was defeated in overtime by the Pittsburgh Penguins in his previous start. The 30-year-old has struggled in limited action while filling in for the Panthers, with his 2-1-1 record, 4.30 GAA and .870 SV%. He takes on the Los Angeles Kings, who have won two-straight after a 4-3 win over Philadelphia last game and have the eighth-best powerplay in the NHL (24.3%).

Hartman was a healthy scratch in the Wild's previous game but, as expected, will draw back into the Wilds' lineup Saturday as they take on Buffalo. The 28-year-old has five goals, nine assists, 64 SOG, 47 PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 25 games played.

Schultz missed the Kraken's previous two games as he dealt with an undisclosed injury and is considered week-to-week. The 32-year-old will hope to be back soon as he has five goals, 19 assists, 59 SOG, 28 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus through 42 games prior to the injury. Carson Soucy will replace Schultz on the second powerplay unit.
