Ty Smith has been reassigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Smith had one goal, three assists, 27 SOG, and a +3 plus/minus through nine games but was reassigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) after being a healthy scratch in each of the last two Penguin games. Smith heads back to the AHL for a second time, where he had four goals and 14 points through 26 games prior to his previous promotion.

Gourde missed the Krakens' previous game due to an undisclosed injury and will be a game-time decision Wednesday as they take on the Vancouver Canucks. The 31-year-old has been having one of his best career seasons to date, with six goals, 24 assists, 78 SOG, 44 PIMs and a +16 plus/minus through 45 games prior to the injury.

Burakovsky has 13 goals, 25 assists, 100 SOG, 14 PIMs and a -6 plus/minus through 45 games this season but will be a game-time decision Wednesday as he deals with an undisclosed injury. If he is forced to miss any time it will be the first time this season he has done so.

Schwartz hasn't played since January 12th and is doubtful but a game-time decision to play Wednesday vs. Vancouver. The 30-year-old veteran has 10 goals, 13 assists, 85 SOG, 12 PIMs and a -10 plus/minus through 40 games played prior to the injury.

Schultz missed the Kraken's previous game as he deals with an undisclosed injury and is considered week-to-week. Carson Soucy will replace Schultz on the second powerplay unit.

He will hope to get back in the win column as he takes on Chicago, who lost their last game 2-1 vs. Los Angeles and are 31st in both goals (2.4) and shots (26.3) per game.

Georgiev will start Tuesday vs. the Capitals.

Georgiev stopped 28 of 29 shots (.966 SV%) for his third win in four starts as he beat Vancouver in his previous game. The 26-year-old has been solid in his first season in Colorado, with his 18-11-3 record, 2.64 GAA and .917 SV%. He will face the Washington Capitals, who have lost four of their last six games after a 6-2 loss to Vegas last game.

Binnington led the Blues onto the ice for warmups.

Binnington was pulled after allowing three goals on seven shots (.429 SV%) as he took the loss to Chicago his last time out. The 29-year-old has fought the puck all season, with his 18-15-3 record, .891 SV% and 3.26 GAA.
