His 1-3-1 Wild will head on the road to Montreal to take on a Canadiens team that lost to Dallas 5-2 Saturday and has struggled to score this season ranking a lowly 26th in league GF/GP (.267).

Blankenburg left Sunday's game in New York with an upper-body injury and did not return. The Blue Jackets recalled Gavin Bayreuther from the AHL on Monday, suggesting that Blankenburg will be unavailable on Tuesday. Blankenburg had a strong start to the season, scoring one goal with one assist in four games.

Oettinger will start the second of the Stars' back-to-back after stopping 32 of 34 shots (.941 SV%) in his previous start against Montreal to move his unbeaten record to 4-0-0. The Stars dropped their first regular season games of the season Monday in their 4-2 loss to Ottawa with Oettinger on the bench. They will head to Boston to take on the 5-1-0 Atlantic-leading Bruins who rank third in the NHL in GF/GP (4.33).

Andersen will be looking to bounce back after allowing five goals on 27 shots (.844 SV%) in a 6-4 loss to Edmonton his last time out. He has enjoyed a strong season regardless of his last start, sporting a 2-1-0 record to go along with his .920 SV% and 2.35 GAA. The Hurricanes take on the injured Vancouver Canucks, who are the only team left in the NHL without a win in 2022-23.

Thompson stopped 22 of 25 shots in his second straight losing effort Saturday as he was knocked off by the Colorado Avalanche 3-2. The rookie has enjoyed a strong season so far with a .926 SV%, 2.30 GAA and one shutout on the year. His Golden Knights will host the Toronto Maple Leafs Monday who are coming off two straight victories and will be looking to improve on their 21st-best GF/GP (3.0) across the NHL.

Blackwood stopped 20 of 21 shots in a 2-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks in his previous start Saturday. He will look to continue his hot run of late after he went 3-0-0 with a 1.33 GAA and .932 SV% last week. He faces a Capitals team that is coming off a 4-3 win over LA and ranks 19th in the NHL for GF/GP (3.17) so far.

Bayreuther has been called up from the AHL to join the Columbus Blue Jackets Monday. Across 71 career games played, he has three goals and 14 points to go along with 39 PIMs.

Maltsev will get the call-up to the Colorado Avalanche after a productive start to his 2022-23 season with the Colorado Eagles of the AHL. Prior to his call-up Monday, Maltsev had four assists in his first four games in the AHL with the Eagles.

Megna has zero points through three games while collecting a -1 plus/minus prior to being sent down Monday. He will hope to be recalled from the Colorado Eagles sooner rather than later so that he can add to his 25 points in 151 career NHL GP.

Hellberg will make the first start of his Ottawa career Monday when the Senators host the Central-leading Dallas Stars at home. He has struggled through his five career games played across four years, pitching a .869 SV% as well as a 2.81 GAA. He takes on a Dallas Stars team who have earned a point in all five of their games so far in 2022-23, averaging the fifth-best GF/GP in the league (4.0).

Campbell is coming off his best start of the season as the Oilers lost 2-0 in a 20 save (.952 SV%) losing effort to St.Louis. Campbell has been struggling through his first four starts with the Oilers, as shown by his 3.82 GAA and .889 SV%. He draws the daunting task of facing the league's highest-scoring team (5.2 GF/GP) in the Pittsburgh Penguins at home Monday.
