Justin Danforth has been placed on injured reserve with a torn labrum

Danforth suffered the upper-body injury in Columbus' 6-3 loss over Pittsburgh Saturday. He was not in the lineup for their 5-1 victory against the New York Rangers on Sunday. He is expected to miss approximately six months as he recovers from surgery for a torn labrum. It is very unfortunate news as the 29-year-old was enjoying a nice start to the season as he had two goals and three points off 10 shots in six games played for the Blue Jackets.

Pavel Buchnevich has been placed on injured reserve Tuesday

Buchnevich has not played since the Blues season opener on October 15th where he had a strong first game, collecting a goal and an assist to go along with a +3 plus/minus rating. The Blues confirmed Tuesday he was placed on the injured reserve due to a lower-body injury. The Blues will hope to have their star winger back sooner rather than later as he has 78 points (31G/47A) in 74 career games with St.Louis.

A.J. Greer returns to the Bruins' lineup after missing their last game

Greer missed the Bruins' previous 4-3 loss but will draw back into Boston's lineup Tuesday. He has been a fan favourite early on in his Bruins career, scoring three goals and five points through his first five games to start the 2022-23 season.

Zboril will be a healthy scratch for the first time in 2022-23 as Brandon Carlo (concussion) returns to the Bruins' lineup Tuesday. Ullmark will get the nod for the third straight game after leading the Bruins to victory his last time out with his weakest effort of the year in a 24 save (.889 SVS%) 4-3 victory over the Minnesota Wild. It seems as if Ullmark has taken the starting job between the Bruins' pipes for the time being after starting the season undefeated (4-0-0) while posting an impressive .929 SV% and 2.23 GAA. He receives the tough task of taking on the 4-1-1 Dallas Stars who are coming off their first regulation loss Monday after dropping their game 4-2 to Ottawa.

Linus Ullmark

It will be a second straight start for Tarasov after he got his first career win in a 30-save (.968 SV%) 5-1 victory over the New York Rangers last time out. He brings his .912 SV% and high 3.33 GAA into his fourth start of the season. Daniil Tarasov
Allen will start Tuesday vs. the Wild.

Allen will be looking for a bounce-back effort after dropping his previous outing 5-2 while stopping only 25 of 30 shots (.833 SV%) in his worst start of the early season. He and his 2-2-0 record will host Minnesota Tuesday, as the netminder hopes to build off his early .913 SV% and 2.77 GAA. Minnesota has struggled this season (1-3-1) and is also coming off a loss as they dropped their last outing 4-3 in overtime to the Boston Bruins. They currently rank last in the NHL in GA/GP with 5.4 GAA per game.

Jake Allen
