The Stars' backup netminder has been solid when called upon this season, with his 6-4-3 record, 3.03 GAA and .910 SV%. He will face the struggliing Anaheim Ducks, who have lost five of their last six games after a 4-1 loss to Philadelphia last game.




Husso was pulled after allowing four goals on 12 shots (.667 SV%) as he took the no-contest in his last start vs. Pittsburgh. The 27-year-old has struggled as of late, which has led to his 12-6-5 record, 2.86 GAA and .908 SV%. He will take on New Jersey, who have lost three of their last four games after a 5-4 shootout loss vs. Carolina last game.

Vanecek allowed two goals on 27 shots (.926 SV%) to snap a four-game losing streak as he beat Pittsburgh in his previous start. The 26-year-old has had an up-and-down first season in New Jersey, with his 13-5-2 record, 2.38 GAA and .911 SV%. He will take on the Detroit Red Wings, who have won three of their last four games but are 24th in the NHL in shots per game (29.6).

Cotter has been out since Dec. 15th due to an upper-body injury but is expected to return Thursday vs. Pittsburgh. The 23-year-old had four goals, two assists, 29 SOG and eight PIMs in 22 games prior to the injury.

Pacioretty has yet to play a game in 2022-23 due to surgery to repair a torn Achilles in the offseason but has been activated from the injured non-roster list Wednesday. The 34-year-old was acquired by the Hurricanes in the offseason after a 19 goal, 18 assist season in 39 games with Vegas in 2021-22.

Gibson allowed four goals on 33 shots (.879 SV%) for his fourth loss in five starts as he was defeated by Philadelphia in his previous start. It has been a nightmarish season for the 29-year-old netminder, who has a 6-16-3 record, 3.98 GAA and .897 SV%. He faces the Dallas Stars, who just snapped a four-game winning streak with a 3-2 loss to Los Angeles in their previous game.

Eichel has not played since Dec. 9th due to a lower-body injury but was skating at Vegas' practice Wednesday and is expected to rejoin their lineup Thursday centring the second line. Eichel was having a strong season prior to the injury, with 13 goals, 16 assists, 100 SOG and a +17 plus/minus through 27 games.

Jarry left the Winter Classic Monday 15:30 into the first period with an undisclosed injury and is likely unavailable Thursday as he heads back to Pittsburgh to be re-evaluated for his injury. The 27-year-old was having a strong season, with his 15-5-4 record, 2.75 GAA and .918 SV%.

Vrana has not played since Oct. 15th due to personal reasons and was surprisingly waived Tuesday but cleared waivers and will now head to Grand Rapids (AHL) for the foreseeable future. The 26-year-old had a goal, two points and five SOG in his short two-game stint prior to stepping away from the team.



Hart was forced to leave the Flyers' game against Carolina on Dec. 23rd after just 9:54 TOI due to an upper-body injury and was day-to-day on the injured reserve. The 24-year-old was 10-11-6 with a 2.89 GAA and .911 SV% this season prior to the injury and has been activated as of Wednesday.

Rondbjerg failed to pick up a point while getting six SOG, four PIMs and a -5 plus/minus rating across nine games with the Golden Knights but has been reassigned to Henderson (AHL). Prior to his promotion previously he had eight goals, seven assists, and a +6 plus/minus through 23 games with the Silver Knights.
