Allen has been sidelined by a lower-body injury since January 12th but is expected to start Thursday vs. the Stars. Prior to getting hurt, Allen had gone 5-16-2 with a 3.15 GAA and .901 SV% in 24 starts. Cayden Primeau was sent to Laval (AHL) to make room for Allen.
The Kraken are retaining 50 percent of Jarnkrok's remaining salary. Jarnkrok is a quality defensive-first forward, who could be a perfect fit on a line with Mikael Backlund and Blake Coleman.
