Robert Bortuzzo has been placed on the injured reserve (upper-body).

Bortuzzo left the Blues' previous game vs. Philadelphia after 9:08 TOI with an upper-body injury. Through 10 games, Bortuzzo has 10 games played he has zero points and nine PIMs with only five SOG. He heads to the injured reserve to make room for Tyler Tucker.

Tyler Tucker has been recalled from Springfield (AHL).

Tucker was having a strong start to his season in Springfield (AHL) prior to his promotion, with a goal and six assists and a +7 plus/minus in 11 games played. He has yet to play a game in the NHL so will make his career debut when he is slotted into the Blues' lineup.

Dan Vladar is in the starter's net in Boston.

Vladar hasn't played since November 1st where he lost 5-4 to Seattle after stopping 21 of 26 shots (.808 SV%). The Flames backup has struggled this season after recently signing a two year contract extension, posting a 1-2-0 record with a .865 SV% and 3.82 GAA. He draws the daunting task of the Boston Bruins, who rank first in the NHL in goals per game (4.08) and seventh in shots per game (34.8).

Nick Holden will be back in the Senators' lineup Thursday vs. New Jersey

Holden hasn't played since November 5th but will draw back into the Senators' lineup after Nikita Zaitsev was waived Wednesday. In nine games this season, Holden has a goal and an assist along with 10 SOG and a +2 plus/minus rating.

Emil Bemstrom will make his season debut Thursday vs. the Flyers

Bemstrom earned his call-up to Columbus after leading the AHL in scoring so far this season with seven goals and 14 points in 10 games played. He also ranks 11th in the AHL in SOG with 35 while adding three of his goals on the PP. He will make his season debut with the Blue Jackets Thursday.

Vanecek is in the starter's crease at the Devils morning skate.

Vanecek stopped 33 of 35 shots (.943 SV%) to pick up his sixth straight victory in a 3-2 win over Calgary his last time out. He holds a 6-1-0 record after losing only his first start of the season while posting a .915 SV% and 2.17 GAA for the Devils. He takes on a struggling Ottawa Senators team that has lost six straight contests.

Sorokin was the first goalie off of the ice at the Islanders morning skate.

Sorokin stopped 43 of 36 shots (.935 SV%) to pick up his fifth straight victory his last time between the pipes vs. the New York Rangers. Sorokin has been his usual remarkable self this season, posting a 6-3-0 record with a 2.20 GAA and .933 SV%. He takes on the Arizona Coyotes who have surprisingly won three of their last four games after a 4-1 win over Buffalo their last time out.

Korpisalo will start Thursday vs. the Flyers.

Korpisalo lost his only start of the season his last time out, allowing five goals on 45 shots (.889 SV%) in a 5-1 loss to Colorado. He will look to build off his only start as he takes on the Philadelphia Flyers at home Thursday. Philadelphia has won two straight games after taking their last contest 5-1 over St. Louis.

The Red Wings have recalled Jonatan Berggren from Grand Rapids (AHL).

Berggren was the No.33 overall pick in 2018 and has scored four goals with three assists (seven points) in seven AHL games this season. Since coming to North America last season, he's collected 71 points (25G / 46A) in 77 combined AHL games. He could make his NHL debut Thursday vs. the Rangers.

Jakub Voracek is out indefinitely with an upper-body injury.

Voracek missed Sundays' game in Finland due to an upper-body injury and will miss in indefinite amount of time. Voracek has six points (1G/5A) and is a -7 plus/minus rating through 11 games played this season and will hope to be back with the 3-9-0 Blue Jackets sooner rather than later.
