Johnsson suffered a lower-body injury in warmups on Sunday and did not play vs. the Penguins. He was missing from Monday's practice and is questionable to play Tuesday. Marian Studenic will remain in the lineup to replace Johnsson if he can't play.

Chabot took a hard hit from Tom Wilson in Washington on Sunday and did not finish the game. Reports from Ottawa on Monday suggest that Chabot will likely miss Tuesday's game vs. St. Louis, leaving the Senators' blueline very thin.

Stone has been battling a back issue all season, so he'll get some time to rehab. The move also clears cap space for the Golden Knights to activate Jack Eichel (neck) ahead of his debut on Wednesday. Golden Knights GM said that it's impossible for the team to predict how long they will be without Stone but that they are hopeful that surgery will not be required.

Eichel was acquired from the Sabres in early November and has been cleared to make his debut on Wednesday after missing the first four and a half months following neck surgery. To make room for Eichel, the Golden Knights had to put Mark Stone (back) on LTIR. Eichel will start on the top line with Max Pacioretty and Evgenii Dadonov in his debut, as well as the top power-play unit.

Galvas played in two straight games after being called up from Rockford (AHL) but will be replaced by Erik Gustafsson in the lineup on Monday. Galvas has been held without a point in his first five NHL games.

Gustafsson has been a healthy scratch for the last two games but will replace Jakub Galvas in the lineup on Monday. Gustafsson has registered one goal and seven assists (eight points) in his last 13 games.

Kurashev has been a regular fixture in the Blackhawks lineup this season but will come out of the lineup on Monday. He has just one assist in his last 11 games. Brett Connolly will replace him in the bottom-6.

Connolly has been a healthy scratch for the last two games but will replace Philipp Kurashev in the lineup on Monday. Connolly has failed to register a point in seven games this season.

Heineman was originally a second-round pick (No.43 overall) of the Panthers but was traded to the Flames as part of the Sam Bennett trade last April. Heineman is a 20-year-old winger, who has scored 11 goals with five assists (16 points) in 36 games with Leksands IF (SHL) this season.

Pitlick never found his groove with the Flames, registering just two assists in 25 games. He gets sent to Montreal to help clear salary space for the Flames to bring on Toffoli. He'll likely play a similar, bottom-6 role in Montreal.

Toffoli began his career under Flames head coach Darryl Sutter when they were with the Kings. Toffoli will provide middle-6 depth for the Flames and scored 37 goals with 33 assists (70 points) in 89 games with the Canadiens in last year and this season combined.
