The Ducks will turn back to Gibson between the pipes on Wednesday after Lukas Dostal got the nod in the front-end of their back-to-back on Tuesday. Gibson struggled in his last outing, allowing six goals on 24 shots in a 6-3 loss to the Blackhawks on Saturday. The 12-year-veteran owns a 9-10-2 record on the season to go along with a .909 SV%. Gibson and the Ducks enter action on Wednesday at +160 on the money line.

Kuemper will start against the Blues on Wednesday.

The Kings have been outscored 18-6 in their previous four games (0-3-1) and will hope for a better result on Wednesday with Kuemper between the pipes against the St. Louis Blues. After a tremendous start to his first season in Los Angeles, posting a 2.06 GAA and .922 SV% in his first 24 appearances (14-4-5), Kuemper has a significantly less impressive 3.25 GAA and .878 SV% in his last nine (4-4-1). The Kings enter Wednesday's contest as -149 home favorites against a Blues squad that defeated them 4-1 less than a week ago.

The Penguins have acquired Luke Schenn and Tommy Novak from the Predators for Michael Bunting and a 2026 4th Round Pick.

Assuming he isn't flipped elsewhere ahead of Friday's Trade Deadline, the Penguins will become the ninth team Schenn has suited up for across his remarkable 17-year-career. The Predators signed Schenn to a three-year contract with an AAV of $2.75-million ahead of the 2023-24 season. The 35-year-old defenceman leaves Nashville after registering two goals, ten assists, 152 blocked shots and 430 hits across 124 games.

The Penguins have acquired Tommy Novak and Luke Schenn from the Predators for Michael Bunting and a 2026 4th Round Pick.

The Penguins will be hoping the 27-year-old Novak will be able to regain the form he flashed in the 2022-23 season, when he scored 17 goals and added 26 assists in just 51 regular season games. Novak leaves Nashville after amassing 117 points with the franchise across 201 career games.

Tommy Novak
The Oilers recalled Jones from Bakersfield (AHL) on Wednesday.

The Oilers acquired Trent Frederic and Max Jones in a three-way trade with the Boston Bruins and New Jersey Devils on Tuesday. Jones has spent most of the 2024-25 season in the AHL but is no stranger to the NHL. The 27-year-old forward has 62 points (31G / 31A) in 265 career games.

Max Jones
The Oilers recalled Dineen from Bakersfield (AHL) on an emergency basis on Wednesday.

The Rangers have outscored their opposition 8-0 in their last two games (2-0-0) and have won four of their previous five (4-1-0). They will roll with Shesterkin between the pipes against the Washington Capitals. Shesterkin was excellent in his most recent outing, saving all 21 shots he faced for his fourth shutout of the season in a 4-0 win over the New York Islanders. The 29-year-old netminder has a 2.86 GAA and .906 SV% in 44 games this season (21-21-2). The Rangers enter Wednesday's contest as +105 home underdogs against a Capitals squad that snapped a three-game losing skid on Monday, narrowly defeating the Ottawa Senators 5-4 in a shootout.

Igor Shesterkin
Woll will start in Vegas on Wednesday.

The Maple Leafs are coming off a disappointing 3-2 shootout loss to the San Jose Sharks but still have points in six straight (5-0-1) and will turn to Woll between the pipes on Wednesday against the Vegas Golden Knights. Woll allowed five goals on 34 shots (.853 SV%) in his most recent outing but received enough goal support to secure a 6-5 overtime victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 26-year-old goalie has a 2.70 GAA and .907 SV% in 32 games this season (21-11-0). The Maple Leafs enter Wednesday's contest as +146 road underdogs against a Golden Knights squad on a two-game winning streak.
