Kucherov will likely miss two games after landing in COVID-19 protocol on Tuesday. Expect to see Kucherov back in the lineup next Tuesday vs. the Sharks.

Thomson has eight points (5G / 3A) in 15 games with Belleville this season. During his time with Ottawa, he has three assists in 12 games. He should draw into the lineup on Tuesday with Erik Brannstrom landing in COVID-19 protocol.

Brannstrom has started to come into his own in the last week, playing top-pair minutes with Thomas Chabot (21:28 ATOI). Landing in COVID-19 protocol means he'll likely miss all three games this week. Lassi Thomson was recalled to take his spot on the roster.
The Devils have recalled Akira Schmid from Utica (AHL).
Mackenzie Blackwood was moved to IR on Wednesday, so Schmid was recalled to pair with Jon Gillies as the Devils' goaltending duo moving forward. Schmid, who was a fifth-round pick in 2018, has been excellent in the AHL, going 9-0-2 with a 1.54 GAA and .948 SV% in 11 games.
The Devils have placed Mackenzie Blackwood (left heel) on IR.
Blackwood served as the backup on Monday but the Devils said that he was dealing with something and wasn't 100 percent. Moving him to IR opens up a roster spot to recall Akira Schmid from Utica (AHL) to serve as the Devils' backup behind Jon Gillies.
Kassian (illness) is expected to be back in the Oilers lineup on Tuesday.
Kassian missed Saturday's win over the Flames but is expected to be back in the lineup on Tuesday. Kassian, who has five goals and eight assists (13 points) in 28 games, will skate on the third line with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Brendan Perlini.
Nugent-Hopkins (lower-body) is expected to be back in the Oilers lineup on Tuesday.
Nugent-Hopkins has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury but is set to play Tuesday in Vancouver. The Oilers will go with a different look, centring the third line with Zack Kassian and Brendan Perlini, instead of playing with Leon Draisaitl.
Blueger will miss 6-to-8 weeks with a fractured jaw.
Blueger underwent successful surgery to repair his fractured jaw on Monday and will miss at least six weeks. With Blueger out, Brian Boyle will likely be the permanent replacement on the fourth line.
Girgensons (lower-body) is expected to be back in the Sabres lineup on Tuesday.
Girgensons has missed the last five games with a lower-body injury but is set to play Tuesday in Ottawa. Girgensons will be on the fourth line with Cody Eakin and John Hayden.
Mittelstadt (upper-body) is expected to be back in the Sabres lineup on Tuesday.
Mittelstadt will play for the first time since December 7th and is expected to centre the second line with Peyton Krebs and Anders Bjork. Mittelstadt has scored one goal on seven shots in four games this season.

Buchnevich (travel) will be back in the Blues lineup on Monday.
Buchnevich was ineligible to play in Vancouver on Sunday but is cleared to play on Monday. Buchnevich is expected to be on a line with Ivan Barbashev and Vladimir Tarasenko.
Fowler (COVID-19 protocol) is on the ice for warmups and will play Monday.
