Slavin missed two games while in COVID-19 protocol but will return to the lineup tonight in Boston. Slavin will be back on the top pair and second power-play unit and comes into play with 18 points (1G / 17A) in 33 games this season.

Gurianov missed three games while in COVID-19 protocol but is expected to play Tuesday vs. the Canadiens. Gurianov, who was red-hot before testing positive, will be back on a line with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn.

Ehlers missed one game while in COVID-19 protocol but is expected to play tonight in Washington. Ehlers, who has 25 points (13G / 12A) in 33 games this season, will skate on the top line with Mark Scheifele and Andrew Copp.

Robertson was on the ice this morning testing his lower-body injury but will not play vs. the Canadiens. The fact that Robertson was on the ice suggests that he shouldn't be out long-term but Jacob Peterson will continue to skate in his spot on the top line on Tuesday.



Thompson was not able to travel to Canada for Tuesday's game due to COVID-19 international travel rules, so he'll be replaced by Mark Jankowski vs. the Senators.

The Sabres did not say what is ailing Hinostroza, but he did not travel to Ottawa, so look for Mark Jankowski to draw back into the lineup.
