Johnson (lower-body) will draw back into the Avalanche lineup on Monday.

Johnson has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury but will play Monday vs. the Kraken. It's unclear who the veteran defenseman will replace but he enters the lineup with one goal and five assists (six points) in 27 games this season.

Jack Johnson
The Sabres promoted Jack Quinn to their taxi squad.

Quinn was the No.8 overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft and could make his NHL debut on Tuesday. Quinn was on the ice for Monday's practice, skating with Dylan Cozens and Vinnie Hinostroza. The 20-year-old winger has 12 goals and 14 assists (26 points) in 20 AHL games this season.

Raanta (upper-body) is not expected to be out long-term but is "not quite day-to-day either."

The Hurricanes provided a very murky update on Raanta's upper-body injury. He's more than day-to-day but isn't expected to be out long-term. The Hurricanes will move forward with a goaltending duo of Frederik Andersen and Alex Lyon.

Antti Raanta
Oshie (illness) is expected to be back in the Capitals lineup on Monday.

Oshie has missed the last three games with a non-COVID illness but both he and Nicklas Backstrom are expected to be back in the lineup on Monday. Oshie, who is expected to skate on the top line with Evgeny Kuznetsov and Alex Ovechkin, has 12 points (4G / 8A) in 16 games this season.

T.J. Oshie
Backstrom (illness) is expected to be back in the Capitals lineup on Monday.

Backstrom has missed the last three games with a non-COVID illness but both he and T.J. Oshie are expected to be back in the lineup on Monday. Backstrom has registered three assists in three games this season.

Nicklas Backstrom
The Capitals have added Dmitry Orlov to the COVID-19 protocol list.

Orlov will not be available for Monday's game vs. the Bruins after being added to the COVID-19 protocol list this morning. With Orlov out, Matt Irwin will draw back into the lineup and Trevor van Riemsdyk will be elevated to the second pairing.

Dmitry Orlov
Foligno (lower-body) is doubtful to play Monday in Washington.

Foligno played just 4:50 TOI before leaving Saturday's game in Tampa with a lower-body injury. The Bruins have yet to provide any timeline on Foligno's return, but he's not expected to play Monday in Washington. Jake DeBrusk may be activated from the COVID-19 protocol list to replace Foligno in the Bruins' bottom-6.

Nick Foligno
Iafallo (COVID-19 protocol) practiced on Sunday and is expected to play Monday vs. the Rangers.

Both Iafallo and Alex Turcotte re-joined practice on Sunday but Turcotte was the only one who was officially activated from the COVID-19 protocol list. Iafallo was back on the top line with Anze Kopitar during the session, a good sign that he'll be available Monday. Expect him to be officially activated later today and play vs. the Rangers.

Alex Iafallo
Turcotte cleared COVID-19 protocol and is expected to play Monday vs. the Rangers.

Turcotte missed two games while in COVID-19 protocol but was on the ice for Sunday's practice and is expected to be back in the Kings lineup on Monday. Turcotte, is still looking for his first career NHL point, will centre the third line with Dustin Brown and Rasmus Kupari/Martin Frk on his wings.
