Dylan Samberg will draw back into the Jets' lineup Wednesday vs. the New York Islanders.

Samberg was a healthy scratch for the Jets' last game but will draw back into the lineup Wednesday as they take on the New York Islanders. The 24-year-old will replace Logan Stanley and hope to add to his two goals, six assists, 35 SOG and 12 PIMs he has across 43 games this season.

The Golden Knights have acquired Dysin Mayo from the Coyotes for a 2023 fifth-round pick and Shea Weber's contract.

Mayo failed to pick up a point across 15 games played with Arizona but had seven SOG, eight PIMs and a -8 plus/minus and has now been dealt to the Vegas Golden Knights for a 2023 fifth-round pick and Shea Weber's contract. Mayo will report to Henderson (AHL) Wednesday, as the defenseman also had two goals and seven points across 26 games with the Tucson Roadrunners (AHL) prior to the deal.

John Klingberg will be a game-time decision Thursday vs. Washington (lower body).

Klingberg had two assists and four PIMs in the Ducks' last game Monday vs. Florida but is now a 50/50 game-time decision to play Thursday as he deals with a lower-body injury. The 30-year-old has seven goals, 15 assists, 71 SOG, 30 PIMs and a -29 plus/minus through 48 games prior to the injury.

Adam Henrique is out vs. Washington Thursday with a lower-body injury.

Henrique left the Ducks' previous game vs. Tampa Bay after just 10:55 TOI due to a lower-body injury and will not play Thursday vs. Washington. The 33-year-old has 19 goals, 14 assists, 122 SOG, 22 PIMs and a -7 plus/minus through 57 games prior to his injury.

Connor Hellebuyck will start Wednesday vs. the New York Islanders.

Hellebuyck amazingly stopped 50 of 51 shots (.980 SV%) for his third win in four starts as he beat the New York Rangers in his previous start. The 29-year-old continues to have the most impressive season he's had in his eight-year career, with his 26-16-1 record, 2.39 GAA and .926 SV%. He will take on the New York Rangers, who have won two of their last three games and have the fifth-best penalty kill in the NHL (82.1%).

Ilya Sorokin will start Wednesday vs. Winnipeg.

Sorokin stopped 44 of 46 shots (.957 SV%) for his second-straight 40+ save win as he beat Pittsburgh in his previous start. The 27-year-old has been incredible this season despite what his record may show, as he is 19-17-5 with a 2.43 GAA and. 924 SV%. He takes on the Winnipeg Jets, who won their last game 4-1 over the New York Rangers and are 16th in the NHL in goals per game (3.14).

Timo Meier will not play Thursday vs. Nashville as he deals with a lingering upper-body injury.

Meier missed the Sharks' previous game due to an upper-body injury and will stay out of the lineup Thursday as they take on Nashville. The 26-year-old is San Jose's main trade chip at the moment and is having an incredibly strong season with 31 goals, 21 assists, 255 SOG, -19 plus/minus and 25 PIMs across 57 games prior to the injury.

Radim Simek has been activated from the injured reserve (upper body).

Simek hasn't played on December 31st due to an upper-body injury but has been activated off the injured reserve Wednesday. The 30-year-old stay-at-home defenseman has a goal, an assist, 25 PIMs and a -9 plus/minus through 31 games played before his injury.

Grigori Denisenko has been reassigned to Charlotte (AHL).

Denisenko had three assists, 15 SOG, four PIMs and a -5 plus/minus through 17 games with Florida but has been reassigned to Charlotte (AHL) Wednesday. He returns to the Checkers, where he had nine goals, 21 points, 29 PIMs and a -14 plus/minus through 37 games prior to his call up.

Aatu Raty has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).

Raty had seven goals, nine assists, 14 PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 35 games between Abbotsford (AHL) and Bridgeport (AHL) and has been recalled to Vancouver for the first time since he was dealt from the New York Islanders. The 22-year-old had two goals in 12 games with the Islanders prior to the trade.

Pavel Buchnevich is expected to return to the Blues' lineup Thursday (lower body).

Buchnevich missed the Blues' previous game due to a lower-body injury but will return to the lineup Thursday vs. Vancouver. The 27-year-old had 16 goals, 27 assists, 78 SOG, 22 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus through 42 games played prior to the injury.

Brandon Saad is expected to return to the Blues' lineup Thursday (upper-body).

Saad has missed the Blues' last four games due to an upper-body injury but will return to the lineup Thursday vs. Vancouver. The 30-year-old left-winger has 15 goals, seven assists, 86 SOG, and a -9 plus/minus through 46 games prior to the injury.

Ruzicka has six goals, 14 assists, 59 SOG, eight PIMs and a +1 plus/minus through 41 games played this season but will be a healthy scratch Wednesday as Calgary takes on Arizona. Walker Duehr will be taking his spot in the Flames lineup.

Duehr had 15 goals, 11 assists, 36 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus through 41 games with the Calgary Wranglers (AHL) and is expected to be back in the Flames' lineup for the first time since January 26th. Duehr had previously played in eight games with the Flames when called up, and has two goals, 12 SOG and a -1 plus/minus through eight games this season.

Vladar allowed five goals on 24 shots (.792 SV%) for his second-straight loss as he was defeated by the Detroit Red Wings last start. The 25-year-old Flames' backup has had an up-and-down season, with his 11-6-4 record, 2.84 GAA and .901 SV%. He takes on the Arizona Coyotes, who have won three of their last four games but are last in the NHL in shots per game (25.9).
