The Capitals have recalled Zach Fucale from Hershey (AHL).
Fucale posted a shutout in his NHL debut earlier in the season. The team is calling his promotion "precautionary" so it's unclear whether or not he will be used as a backup on Friday. Fucale has gone 4-2-2 with a 2.80 GAA and .889 SV% in eight games with Hershey this season.
The Stars have recalled Thomas Harley from Texas (AHL).
Both Harley and Riley Tufte were recalled from the AHL and travelled to St. Louis but it's unclear if either will play on Friday. Harley has no points in four career NHL games.

Radulov missed Tuesday's game with a non-COVID illness but is set to return to the lineup on Friday. It's been a bit of a quiet first quarter of the season for Radulov, who has just one goal and 10 assists in 25 games.
Heiskanen (illness) will not play Friday in St. Louis.
Heiskanen is now dealing with the non-COVID illness that has been bouncing around the Stars locker room. He did not travel to St. Louis, so he'll be replaced by either Thomas Harley or Joel Hanley.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
