Bear was in COVID-19 protocol and missed the last six games. He took regular reps in Friday's practice but remains a game-time decision for Saturday's game vs. the Sabres.

Andreoff played in five straight games with the Islanders but switches spots with Austin Czarnik, presumably to allow Czarnik to play in his hometown of Detroit on Saturday.

Czarnik has yet to appear in an NHL game this season but has 12 points (5G / 7A) in 18 AHL games. Czarnik will take Andy Andreoff's spot on the roster and could make his season debut in Detroit (his hometown).

The Bruins were finally given the green light to call-up players from Providence after a COVID-19 breakout. Steen has two assists in two games with the Bruins and 13 points (6G / 7 A) in 12 games with Providence this season.

The Bruins were finally given the green light to call-up players from Providence after a COVID-19 breakout. Ahcan has picked up two goals with eight assists (10 points) in 19 AHL games this season.

Shesterkin had to leave Friday's game after suffering a lower-body injury in the third period. Shesterkin did not put any weight on his leg as he was leaving the ice but head coach Gerard Gallant said it's a minor lower-body injury and not as bad as it looked. Look for Alexandar Georgiev to start Saturday.

Schueneman is an undrafted free agent out of Western Michigan, who is in his third professional season. The 26-year-old defenseman has seven points (2G / 5A) in 18 AHL games this season and will travel with the team to Nashville because Jeff Petry is unavailable.

Dauphin could make his season debut on Saturday after being called up to replace Josh Anderson. Dauphin has has a terrific season going in the AHL, leading Laval in goals (11) and points (16) through 18 games.

Petry is battling an upper-body injury, so he will not play Saturday. The Canadiens did not announce if he is expected to miss any time beyond Saturday, so monitor his status early next week. Mattias Norlinder should replace him in the lineup.

DeKeyser has missed the last three games on the COVID-19 protocol list but has been cleared to return to the lineup on Saturday. DeKeyser split reps with Jordan Oesterle in Friday's practice, so it's unclear if he will in fact return to the lineup vs. the Islanders.

Mrazek has not played since October 30th, so he'll go to the AHL to get some game action before returning to the Maple Leafs' crease. It's unclear if he will need one or multiple starts with the Marlies.
