Koppanen played 10:58 for the Bruins last night vs. the Islanders and picked up two PIMs but will be a healthy scratch Thursday as they take on the Rangers. Koppanen had six goals, 14 assists, 22 PIMs and a +9 plus/minus in 36 games with Providence (AHL) prior to his callup on Tuesday.

Swayman was perfect, stopping all 29 shots as he picked up his third straight victory in a win over Philadelphia his last time out. The 24-year-old Bruins' backup has played great as of late, leading to his 10-3-3 record, 2.35 GAA and .912 SV%. He takes on the New York Rangers, who have won three of their last four games and are eighth in the NHL in shots per game (32.9).

Nosek missed the Bruins' game Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury but will draw back into the lineup Thursday as they take on the New York Islanders. The veteran 30-year-old has three goals, five assists, and 34 PIMs through 41 games this season.

Blais has five assists, 30 SOG, eight PIMs and a +2 plus/minus through 38 games but will be a healthy scratch Thursday as New York takes on Boston. The 26-year-old will head to the press box for Chris Kreider, who is returning from injury (upper body).

Kreider missed the Rangers previous three games due to an upper-body injury but will draw back into the lineup Thursday vs. Boston. The 31-year-old has 19 goals, 11 assists, 138 SOG, 14 PIMs and a +11 plus/minus through 21 games prior to the injury.

Foote failed to pick up a point in any of the three games that he played with New Jersey before being reassigned to Utica (AHL) Thursday. The 22-year-old was sent down to Utica (AHL) to make room for Nate Bastian (shoulder), who has activated earlier Thursday.

Shesterkin allowed two goals on 31 shots (.935 SV%) to break a two-game winning streak as he was downed by Montreal in his previous start. The 27-year-old has been solid this season, with his 20-7-6 record, 2.43 GAA and .918 SV%. He will take on the Boston Bruins, who have won seven of their last eight contests after a 4-1 win over the New York Islanders last game.

Hinostroza had eight assists, 23 SOG and a -2 plus/minus through 19 games this season with Buffalo but has been reassigned to Rochester (AHL) Wednesday after clearing waivers. J.J. Peterka has been recalled in his place.

Peterka had seven goals, 11 assists, 64 SOG and 20 PIMs through 41 games with Buffalo in his previous NHL stint and has been recalled Wednesday from Rochester (AHL).

Michael McCarron was just reinstated from the NHLPA Player Assistance Program and has been reassigned to Milwaukee (AHL). The 27-year-old had one goal, one assist, 21 SOG and 17 PIMs through 17 games with Nashville prior to his demotion.

Blackwood allowed two goals on 37 shots (.946 SV%) as he snapped a two-game losing streak with a win over Los Angeles in his previous start. The 26-year-old has continued to struggle for a second-straight season, with his 6-3-1 record, 2.95 GAA and .895 SV%. He will face the Seattle Kraken, who are on a two-game losing streak after a 5-2 loss to Edmonton which came after an eight-game winning streak.

Fleury has been a healthy scratch for the Kraken's previous six games but will draw back into the lineup as Justin Schultz deals with an undisclosed injury. The 24-year-old has yet to pick up a point this season, with five SOG and a -1 plus/minus through six games previously played.

Jones allowed five goals on 34 shots (.879 SV%) to snap a seven-game winning streak as he was defeated by Edmonton in his last start. The 33-year-old continues to win despite putting up very minuscule numbers, with his 21-6-3 record, 2.84 GAA and .893 SV%. He will face New Jersey, who is in the middle of a five-game winning streak after a 4-3 shootout win over San Jose.

Hill stopped 38 of 39 shots (.974 SV%) for his second win in as many starts as he beat Florida the last time he took the crease. The 26-year-old backup has been solid this season, with his 10-3-1 record, 2.61 GAA and .909 SV%. He takes on the Detroit Red Wings, who have lost three straight games and are 19th in the NHL in goals per game (3.09).

Schultz left the Kraken's previous game vs. Edmonton after just 10:12 TOI and will miss Thursday's contest vs. New Jersey as he deals with an undisclosed injury. The 32-year-old is considered day-to-day and will hope to be back soon as he has five goals, 19 assists, 59 SOG, 28 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus through 42 games prior to the injury. Carson Soucy will replace Schultz on the second powerplay unit.

Bastian last played on Nov. 26th due to a shoulder injury but is available to return to the Devils' lineup Thursday vs. Seattle. The 25-year-old had three goals, five assists, 26 SOG, and 15 PIMs through 21 games prior to his injury.

Vilardi has 17 goals, 14 assists, 88 SOG, 10 PIMs and a +6 plus/minus through 45 games this season but will miss his first game of the year Thursday as he deals with an undisclosed injury. Vilardi is considered day-to-day.
