Boston has signed John Farinacci to a one-year, two-way contract.
Boston will keep a familiar face around for the upcoming season after announcing they have signed John Farinacci to a one-year, two-way contract on Tuesday. The 24-year-old forward made his NHL debut in 2024-25 with the Bruins, scoring his first career goal in his only game appearance. He is expected to fight for a bottom-six spot out of training camp but will likely start the season back in Providence (AHL) where he had 10 goals and 38 points in 58 games last season.

Farinacci was a third-round pick, 76th overall, of the Arizona Coyotes in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The 24-year-old has 37 points (9G / 28A) in 57 games with the Providence Bruins (AHL) this season.
Farinacci has been recalled from Providence (AHL).

Farinacci was originally drafted by Arizona in 3rd round of the 2019 NHL Draft (76th overall) but has signed a two-year entry-level contract with Boston. The 22-year-old center is coming off his third season with Harvard (NCAA) where he had five goals, 15 assists, two PIMs and a +7 plus/minus through 19 games played in 2022-23.
