Hellebuyck is in the starter's crease at Winnipeg's morning skate.

After tremendous performances while representing Team USA at the Olympics, propelling them to a Gold Medal, Hellebuyck has returned to uncharacteristically subpar performances while representing the Jets this season. That said, he was solid in his most recent outing, saving 31 of 33 shots (.939 SV%) in a 3-2 shootout loss to the San Jose Sharks, which was the first time he has allowed fewer than three goals in seven outings (1-3-3). The Jets enter Tuesday's contest as -154 home favourites against the Chicago Blackhawks, who are coming off an impressive 4-0 win over the Utah Mammoth.

Connor Hellebuyck
Skinner was the first goalie off the ice at Pittsburgh's morning skate.

The Penguins have alternated goalies since returning from the Olympic break, with both goalies delivering tremendous performances while going 2-0-1. They will turn to Skinner to tend the twine on Tuesday against the Boston Bruins. The 27-year-old Skinner saved 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%) in his previous outing, a 3-2 shootout loss to the New York Rangers. He has a 2.66 GAA and .890 SV% in 14 games since joining the Penguins (8-4-2). Pittsburgh enters Tuesday's contest as slight +105 road underdogs against a Bruins team that has lost three of its last four games (1-1-2).

Stuart Skinner
Murphy will not make his Edmonton' debut on Tuesday vs. Ottawa.

Edmonton, one of the NHL's worst defensive teams (3.38 GA/GP), acquired Murphy from the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday to help them shore up their blueline. In 60 games with Chicago this season, the 32-year-old Murphy averaged 16:34 time-on-ice, recording 13 points (4G / 9A), 62 hits, and 87 blocks. He will not play on Tuesday, with his next chance to make his debut being on Friday against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Connor Murphy
Carlson (lower-body) will remain out vs. Utah and is still considered day-to-day.

Carlson suffered a lower-body injury in Washington's final game before the Olympic break on February 6th. He will miss a fourth straight game on Tuesday, but could be an option on Saturday against the Boston Bruins. The 36-year-old Carlson has seen significantly less powerplay deployment this season, taking a backseat to Jakob Chychrun, but has remained productive, with an impressive 46 points (10G / 36A) through 55 games.

John Carlson
Thompson will start vs. Utah on Tuesday.

Thompson has been doing his part to help the Capitals get back into the playoff picture and will likely return to the crease on Tuesday against the Utah Mammoth. The 29-year-old Thompson was solid in his most recent outing, saving 24 of 26 shots (.923 SV%) in a 3-2 win over the Vegas Golden Knights, helping him improve to 4-1-0 with a 2.21 GAA and .920 SV% in his last five games. The Capitals enter Tuesday's contest as -119 home favourites against a Mammoth team coming off a disappointing 4-0 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks.

Jokiharju will be a healthy scratch vs. PIttsburgh on Tuesday.

Andrew Peeke will draw back into Boston's lineup on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins, sending Jokiharju to the press box as a healthy scratch. The 26-year-old Jokiharju struggled in Boston's previous game, recording a -2 plus/minus. He is averaging 17:55 time-on-ice and has nine assists in 35 games this season.

Henri Jokiharju
Peeke will draw back into Boston's lineup vs. PIttsburgh on Tuesday.

Henri Jokiharju will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday, allowing Peeke to re-enter the lineup. The 27-year-old Peeke last played on February 4th before the Olympic break. He is averaging 19:37 time-on-ice and has 12 points (4G / 8A) in 56 games this season.

Andrew Peeke
Swayman will start vs. Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Swayman has a light workload in his return to the Bruins' crease from the Olympic break, facing only 16 shots, but he allowed two goals (.875 SV%) in the 3-1 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers. The 27-year-old goalie will return to the crease on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins, hoping to return to the form that saw him help the Bruins record a point in four straight games heading into the league stoppage (3-0-1). The Bruins enter Tuesday's contest as -117 home favourites against a Penguins team that has surprisingly gone 2-0-1 with Sidney Crosby (lower body) sidelined.

Jeremy Swayman
Geekie has been recalled from Syracuse (AHL).

Geekie made his NHL debut with Tampa Bay last season and scored 14 points (8G / 6A) in 52 games. That said, the 21-year-old forward, the 11th-overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, has spent most of the 2025-26 season in the AHL, where he has excelled with 51 points (14G / 37A) in 47 games with the Syracuse Crunch.

Conor Geekie
Lavoie has been recalled from Henderson (AHL).

Lavoie was a second-round pick of the Edmonton Oilers in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, but he has yet to make his mark in the NHL, with only 16 career games. That said, 25-year-old forward has been impressive at the AHL level this season, with 25 points (12G / 13A) in 24 games with the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL).

Raphael Lavoie
Thompson is expected to start vs.

Logan Thompson
Lyon is in the starter's crease at Buffalo's morning skate.

The Sabres have received excellent tandem goaltending from Alex Lyon and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, aiding them to come out of the Olympic break with a three-game winning streak, looking to extend it to four with Lyon tending the twine on Tuesday against the Vegas Golden Knights. The 33-year-old Lyon was stellar in his previous outing, saving 27 of 29 shots (.931 SV%) in a 3-2 win over the Florida Panthers. He has been near-perfect in recent weeks, winning 12 of 14 games (12-2-0), posting an impressive 2.27 GAA and .925 SV%. The Sabres enter Tuesday's contest as -137 home favourites against a Golden Knights team coming off an embarrassing 5-0 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Stars are riding a franchise-best nine-game winning streak and will turn to DeSmith in the tail end of a back-to-back, on Tuesday against the Calgary Flames. The 34-year-old DeSmith was solid in his previous outing, saving 18 of 19 shots (.947 SV%) in a 4-1 win over the Seattle Kraken. Forsberg will start against the Avalanche on Monday.

With Darcy Kuemper (illness) unavailable, the Kings will turn to Forsberg on Monday against the Colorado Avalanche. The 33-year-old Forsberg is coming off one of his best performances of the season, saving all 29 shots he faced for his second shutout in a 2-0 win over the Calgary Flames. That said, he was unsuccessful in a meeting against Colorado earlier this season, allowing four goals on 25 shots (.840 SV%) in a 5-2 loss. The Kings enter Monday's action as +150 home underdogs.
