Puljujarvi suffered a lower-body injury in Thursday's win over the Ducks and could reportedly miss up to one month. This is tough timing for Puljujarvi, who has two goals and one assist in four games since the coaching change.

Perfetti suffered an upper-body injury on a hit from the much bigger Jamie Oleksiak on Thursday and will miss some time. With Andrew Copp also sidelined, the Jets' depth will be tested vs. the Oilers on Saturday.

Copp was scratched from the lineup on Thursday and will likely miss Saturday's game vs. the Oilers. The Jets also lost Cole Perfetti in yesterday's game, so their depth will be tested for a few games.



Gustafsson has played in two straight games but will be replaced by Alec Regula in the lineup on Friday.

Slavin has played in four straight games, failing to register a point in 13:46 ATOI. Henrik Borgstrom will draw back into the lineup to replace him vs. the Stars.

Connolly picked up his first point of the season last night but will come out of the lineup on Friday. Lukas Reichel was recalled from the AHL and will replace him in the lineup.

Borgstrom was a healthy scratch last night vs. the Blue Jackets but will replace Josiah Slavin in the lineup on Friday. Borgstrom has scored just four goals with three assists (seven points) in 35 games this season.

Regula has spent most of the season with the Rockford IceHogs but will play Friday after sitting as a healthy scratch on Thursday. The 21-year-old defenseman will replace Erik Gustafsson in the lineup.

Reichel has soured 14 goals with 19 assists (33 points) in 33 AHL games this season. The Blackhawks' top prospect will get another shot with the NHL but it's likely to be short-term again. He will once again skate on the top line with Patrick Kane.



Mittelstadt has only played in seven games this season, scoring one goal and one assist. He centred the third line with Rasmus Asplund and Kyle Okposo on Friday and will play for the first time since January 30th on Saturday.

Sekera has been out sine January 28th, so he's eligible to be activated whenever he's back to 100 percent. Expect Thomas Harley to remain in the lineup while Sekera is out.


Smith was scratched for three straight games but will replace Ethan Bear in the lineup on Friday. Smith has five points (3G / 2A), 19 PIMS and a plus-4 rating in 26 games this season.

Khaira has not played since January 17th due to a back injury and landing on LTIR provides the Blackhawks with salary relief. Since he's already missed 10 games, he's eligible to return when he's healthy.

Toews has not played since January 25th in Detroit and lands on IR to open up a roster spot to call up Lukas Reichel. Toews will be eligible to be activated whenever he's back to 100 percent.
