Lundell has not played since Dec. 1st due to an upper-body injury and illness and it seemed as though he was close to returning last week, but will officially return Tuesday vs. New Jersey. The 21-year-old has four goals, 13 points, 56 SOG and a +9 plus/minus in 24 games prior to missing time.

Clutterbuck missed the Islanders' previous game due to an upper-body injury and will now head to the injured reserve retroactive to 12/16. The 35-year-old had just recently become the all-time hits leader in the NHL and has three goals, five points, 14 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus in 26 games prior to the injury.

Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 32 shots (.938 SV%) for his second win in three starts as he beat New Jersey in his last time out. The 34-year-old has been better as of late, but struggled nonetheless this season, with his 7-9-1 record, 3.26 GAA and .894 SV%. He will face the plummeting New Jersey Devils, who have lost six straight after a defeat to Carolina on Tuesday night.

Zub has two goals, two assists, 10 PIMs, and 15 SOG while averaging 22:01 ATOI across 14 games played and will now be signed in the Nation's capital for four more years, at an average of $4.6 million per year. The 27-year-old has 11 goals, 29 assists, 96 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus across 142 career games played in three NHL seasons.




Jones last game was a relief effort a week ago (Dec.13) vs. Tampa Bay, where he allowed two goals on 10 shots (.800 SV%) while getting no decision. Jones has a great record (13-5-2) but has struggled most nights as shown by his .888 SV% and 2.95 GAA. He takes on the incredibly streaky St. Louis Blues, who are in the middle of a four-game winning streak.



Zucker was having a great bounce season with six goals, 20 points, 67 SOG and a +6 plus/minus through 27 games but has been out since Dec. 12th due to an undisclosed injury. It marked the fifth straight season where Zucker was forced to miss a chunk of games due to injury, so a return is great news for the Penguins.

Shesterkin stopped 29 of 30 shots (.967 SV%) to pick up his sixth straight win in a victory over Chicago in his last start. He has continued his Vezina Trophy-winning form from a season ago, with his 16-4-4 record, 2.39 GAA and .919 SV%. He will face the Pittsburgh Penguins, who just snapped a seven-game winning streak with a loss vs. Carolina in their previous game.

Kochetkov stopped 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%) for his fourth straight win in his last start as he beat the Pittsburgh Penguins. The rookie netminder has been a revelation for the Hurricanes in his first season, with his 9-1-4 record, 2.01 GAA and .923 SV%. He will face the New Jersey Devils, who are on a bit of a slide, having lost their last five games.



Zohorna heads back to the Calgary Wranglers (AHL) with the return of Chris Tanev (upper body) Tuesday. The 26-year-old did not pick up a point in five games, with three shots and a -1 plus/minus.

Tanev has missed the Flames' last four games after taking a shot to the head just over a week ago and will be activated from the injured reserve Tuesday. The stay-at-home defenseman has five assists, 22 SOG and four PIMs through 24 games played.

Allison missed the last 18 games due to a hip pointer and oblique muscle injury but will return Tuesday vs. Columbus. The 25-year-old has three goals, an assist, a +4 plus/minus and 24 SOG through 14 games played this season prior to the injury.

Markstrom allowed two goals on 26 shots (.923 SV%) to snap a six-game losing streak with a win over San Jose in his last start. He has struggled mightily this season, with his 9-8-4 record, 2.88 GAA and .893 SV%. He faces the San Jose Sharks again after beating them 5-2 the last time they met on Sunday.
