Barkov is expected to return to the lineup Thursday after missing six games due to pneumonia. The Panthers' superstar had five goals, 13 assists, 74 SOG and nine PPP in 19 games prior to the unfortunate injury.

Knight is considered day-to-day and will miss Thursday due to illness. He is the third Panther this week to miss games due to illness as Aleksander Barkov, and Anton Lundell were both forced to miss time due to illness.

The reasoning for Lyon's recall has not yet come out but he had been having a mediocre season in Charlotte (AHL) prior to the promotion with a 6-5-2 record, .903 SV% and 2.80 GAA.
