Forsberg made 53 saves on 57 shots in the Senators 5-3 loss to the Panthers on Saturday. It was an outrageously busy night for Forsberg, who kept his team in it until the very end. Ottawa is in the bottom-10 in the NHL in shots against, so he'll be busy most nights. He comes into Tuesday at 3-4-0 with a 3.04 GAA and .913 SV% in seven games.


Lindgren stood on his head in his last start, stopping 38 of 41 shots (.927 SV%) in a 6-3 win vs. New Jersey. Washington's backup has been solid in his two games played this season with a 3.08 GAA and .925 SV%. He plays Vegas who has won four straight games allowing only four goals across those games.


Jones missing Tuesday's game comes as a bit of a hit to Seattle who is already down Philipp Grubauer due to injury. Joey Daccord will tend the crease in Jones's absence.

Gibson was recalled Tuesday from the Coachella Valley Firebirds after being demoted last week and passing through waivers. The 29-year-old has struggled mightily this year, posting a glaringly high 7.61 GAA and .706 SV% in two games played with the Firebirds.

Brown underwent a surgical procedure on his right knee to reconstruct his torn ACL after he was injured in a game against Vancouver on October 17th. It is a tough loss for Brown and the Capitals after he was acquired in the offseason. In his four games prior to the injury, the 28-year-old had no points and was a -3 plus/minus rating.

Vejmelka is coming off one of his best starts of the season, in a 32-save (.914 SV%) 3-2 overtime loss to Winnipeg over the weekend. He has struggled greatly this season, posting a 1-3-1 record along with a 4.41 GAA and .884 SV%. He should face a ton of shots Tuesday as he faces Florida, who is second in the NHL in shots per game (39.2).

Palat suffered a groin injury vs. the Capitals last Monday and will be sidelined indefinitely after undergoing surgery. The Devils are expected to provide a more detailed timeline at a later date.

Daccord will make his first start of the season for Seattle after posting an ugly .850 SV% and 4.30 GAA with the Kraken last year. The 26-year-old even struggled prior to his call-up, posting a .880 SV% and 3.36 GAA for Coachella (AHL). He should face a ton of rubber as he takes on a Flames team that ranks third in the NHL in SOG per game with 37.4.

Hughes has missed the last four games for Vancouver with a lower-body injury and will be a game-time decision Tuesday vs. the Devils. The superstar defenseman has five points through his first five games to start the 2022-23 season while playing a career-high 27:14 ATOI.

Bruce Boudreau said Tuesday that Riley Stillman would be a game-time decision after missing the last four games due to an undisclosed injury. In five games since joining the Canucks he has zero points and five SOG while earning a -3 plus/minus rating.

Bear along with Lane Pederson was traded from the Hurricanes to the Canucks last week for a fifth-round pick. He will make his Vancouver debut Tuesday for his third team in five NHL seasons. In 190 career games, he has 13 goals and 47 points along with 77 PIMs.

Studnicka was acquired by the Canucks last week for Michael DiPietro and Jonathan Myrenberg. The 2017 2nd rd pick (53rd overall) played 38 games with the Bruins prior to the deal, collecting a goal and seven points with a -7 plus/minus rating.

The Winnipeg Jets announced Tuesday that defenseman Logan Stanley will miss the next couple of weeks due to a slight fracture in his foot. The towering 24-year-old had no points and six PIMs in his first five games this season while playing 14:48 TOI.

Demko won his first start of the season stopping 32 of 36 shots (.889 SV%) his last time out vs. Seattle. The 26-year-old has struggled mightily in the early part of the season, posting a .874 SV% and 4.05 GAA to go along with his 1-5-1 record. He takes on one of the NHL's hottest teams in New Jersey who has won six of their last seven games and is coming off a 7-1 victory their last time out.

Drouin finds himself back in Montreal's lineup after missing three games so far in 2022-23. The 27-year-old has two assists and four SOG through his first six games this season while playing only 14:18 ATOI.

Pitlick will enter the Canadiens lineup for the first time since October 27th. The 25-year-old centre has no points and is a -2 plus/minus rating through five games this season.

Hoffman will be a healthy scratch for the first time this season after collecting two points (1G/1A) through his first nine games. The 32-year-old is in the second year of his 3-year/$13,500,000 contract.
