Shesterkin had to be helped off of the ice in the third period of the Rangers' win on Thursday but is not expected to miss a lengthy period of time. A mild groin strain was likely the best-case scenario for the young netminder, who will hand the keys to Alexandar Georgiev for at least a couple of days.

Blichfeld has been suspended for two games for his check to the head on Nathan MacKinnon.
Making his season debut on Wednesday, Blichfeld's night was cut short after he was ejected for the check to the head on MacKinnon. On Thursday, the NHL levied a two-game suspension on Blichfeld, which rules him out for Friday and Saturday's back-to-back vs. the Golden Knights.
Lindholm suffered a fractured left wrist and is expected to miss six weeks.
Lindholm had previously missed time with a lower-body injury before fracturing his wrist in his return to the lineup last Saturday. With Lindholm out for at least six weeks, he could return for the final month of the season.
