Binnington will start Tuesday in Vegas.

Binnington allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Blues win over the Kings on Saturday. Ville Husso gave him the night off on Sunday, but they'll go back to Binnington tonight in Vegas. The 27-year-old is 3-1-1 with a 2.53 GAA and .927 SV% to open the 2021 season and was 1-0-1 while allowing eight goals on 81 shots (.901 SV%) in two games vs. Vegas last year.

Jordan Binnington
Petersen was the first goalie off of the ice at the Kings morning skate.

Petersen allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Kings loss in St. Louis on Saturday. Petersen has lost each of his two starts this season while allowing six goals on 53 shots (.887 SV%) but it appears as if the Kings will trust him to take on a decent sized workload in the condensed season. Tonight he faces a Wild team that is 4-2-0, including two wins over the Kings to kick-off the season.

Cal Petersen
Koskinen is expected to start Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Koskinen allowed three goals on 38 shots in the Oilers win in Winnipeg on Sunday. Koskinen continues to be a workhorse for the Oilers, as he's expected to make his eighth consecutive start on Tuesday. The 32-year-old netminder has gone 3-4-0 with a 3.18 GAA and .907 SV% in his first seven appearances, including 2-1-0 with a 2.36 GAA and .924 SV% on the road so far.

Mikko Koskinen
Jones will start Tuesday in Colorado.

Jones allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Sharks win in Minnesota on Sunday. After a tough outing in Arizona in his second start of the season, Jones has gone 2-0-0 while stopping 48 of the 52 shots (.923 SV%) that he's faced in his last two games. Tonight he faces an Avs team that he struggled against in 2020--going 0-2-0 while surrendering eight goals on 62 shots (.871 SV%).

Martin Jones
Markstrom will start Tuesday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Markstrom allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Flames loss to the Maple Leafs on Sunday. Since his opening night loss in Winnipeg, Markstrom has gone 2-1-0 while turning aside 86 of the 91 shots (.945 SV%) that he's faced in his last three games. Tonight he gets a rematch vs. a Toronto team that has won four of their last five games while scoring 2.80 goals per game.

Jacob Markstrom
Kahkonen will start Tuesday vs. the Kings.

Kahkonen allowed four goals on 35 shots in the Wild's 5-3 loss to the Sharks on Sunday. With Cam Talbot still sidelined, Kahkonen will make a second straight start. The young Finnish netminder has played well early-on, going 2-1-0 with a 2.27 GAA and .921 SV% in three appearances. On Tuesday he'll take on a Kings team that has been surprisingly good on offence so far, averaging 3.33 goals per game (7th in the NHL).

Kaapo Kahkonen
Hellebuyck will start Tuesday vs. the Oilers.

Hellebuyck allowed three goals on 21 shots but it was enough to be the Senators last Saturday. Hellebuyck has picked up where he left off in 2020, opening the season at 3-1-0 with a 2.25 GAA and .920 SV% through four games. On Tuesday he'll face a high-powered Oilers offence, who he was 2-1-0 with a 1.65 GAA, .943 SV% and one shutout against in 2020.

Connor Hellebuyck
Sturm (illness) will draw back into the Wild's lineup on Tuesday.

Sturm has missed the last two games with an illness but will replace Brad Hunt in the lineup Tuesday vs. the Kings. Sturm, who will skate on the fourth line with Victor Rask and Ryan Hartman, has no points and nine shots on goal in four games this season.

Nico Sturm
Jarry will start Tuesday in Boston.

Jarry gave up two goals on 26 shots in the Penguins' win over the Rangers on Sunday. After a horrible start to the season, Jarry has settled in in his last two outings, going 2-0-0 while stopping 55 of the 60 shots (.917 SV%) that he's faced. On Tuesday he'll face a Bruins team that is still without David Pastrnak but have found their offence in the last two games, scoring a combined 11 goals in back-to-back wins over the Flyers.

Tristan Jarry
Kahkonen is expected to start Tuesday vs.

Rinne is in the starter's crease at the Predators morning skate.

Rinne allowed two goals on eight shots after replacing Juuse Saros in the Predators' blowout loss in Dallas last Friday. Through two appearances, Rinne has surrendered five goals on just 31 shots (.839 SV%), so he'll look to get on-track tonight vs. the Blackhawks. Chicago had a slow start to the season but the offence found life in a two-game set with the lowly Red Wings over the weekend.

Pekka Rinne
Kuemper will start Tuesday vs. the Ducks.

Kuemper stopped 26 of 27 shots in the Coyotes' 1-0 loss to Vegas on Sunday. After a bit of a tough start to the season, Kuemper has played really well in his last two starts, stopping 55 of the 58 shots (.948 SV%) that he's faced. He'll be thankful that he doesn't have to face the Golden Knights, after four straight starts vs. Vegas. He draws a great matchup vs. a Ducks team that he was 1-1-0 while allowing just five goals on 63 shots (.921 SV%) against in 2020.

Darcy Kuemper
Chytil will miss 4-to-6 weeks with an upper-body injury.

Chytil was hurt on a blindside hit from Evan Rodrigues in Sunday's game in Pittsburgh and will miss at least one month with an upper-body injury. A one-month absence means that Chytil will miss at least the next 14 games and that Brett Howden should get increased usage starting on Tuesday.

Filip Chytil
Khudobin will start Tuesday vs. the Red Wings.

Khudobin allowed two goals on 17 shots in the Stars win over the Predators on Sunday. Khudobin opened up the season with back-to-back wins over Nashville, stopping 49 of the 51 shots (.961 SV%) that he's faced so far. He's a must-start option on Tuesday with a terrific matchup vs. a Red Wings team that is shorthanded due to COVID-19 protocol.

Anton Khudobin
Cozens has been promoted from the taxi squad and is expected to play on Tuesday.

Cozens was sent to the taxi squad prior to Sunday's game so that the Sabres could get Casey Mittelstadt into the lineup. The two swapped spots on Tuesday morning, so look for Cozens to skate with Eric Staal and Victor Olofsson vs. the Rangers. The rookie has scored one goal with one assist in his first five career NHL games.

Dylan Cozens
Wilson (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Wilson missed Sunday's game vs. the Sabres but was on the ice for Tuesday's morning skate and will be a game-time decision tonight. Wilson, who has three goals and three assists (six points) in five games this season, will skate on a line with Lars Eller and Richard Panik if he plays.
