Studnicka will be back in the Bruins lineup on Monday.

Studnicka played 11:40 TOI in the season opener but was a healthy scratch on Saturday. With Ondrej Kase getting hurt on Saturday, Studnicka will draw into the Bruins lineup on Monday and is expected to skate on the second line with David Krejci and Nick Ritchie.

Jack Studnicka
Binnington will start Monday vs. the Sharks.

Binnington was yanked after allowing four goals on 24 shots in the Blues' 8-0 loss in Colorado last Friday. It was an ugly outing for the entire team but the Blues will go right back to their No.1 netminder tonight vs. the Sharks. In his only start vs. the Sharks in 2020, Binnington stopped 27 of 29 shots in a winning effort.

Jordan Binnington
Rinne is expected to start Monday vs. the Hurricanes.

Juuse Saros started the first two games of the season but it looks like Juuse Saros will make his season debut tonight vs. the Hurricanes. The 38-year-old netminder was 10-8-3 with a 3.30 GAA and .888 SV% on home-ice last year and faces a Hurricanes team coming off of an ugly loss in Detroit on Saturday.

Pekka Rinne
Nielsen will draw into the Red Wings lineup on Monday.

Nielsen will re-enter the lineup for Adam Erne after sitting as a healthy scratch Saturday vs. the Hurricanes. Erne was placed on the COVID-19 protocol list, so Nielsen could be in the lineup for a couple of games at least.

Frans Nielsen
Rasmussen will draw into the Red Wings lineup on Monday afternoon.

With Robby Fabbri out because of COVID-19 protocol, Rasmussen will make his season debut on Monday afternoon. Rasmussen will centre Detroit's second line and comes in after picking up 18 points (5G / 13A) in 18 games with Graz EC during his COVID loan in the Austria's top league.

Michael Rasmussen
Greiss led the Red Wings onto the ice for warmups.

Greiss stopped 40 of 42 shots in the Red Wings' loss to the Hurricanes on opening night. It was a terrific debut for Greiss, who kept the Red Wings in it while they were being dominated. Jonathan Bernier started Game 2 but they will come back to Greiss on their Monday matinee. In his second start, he'll face a Blue Jackets team that is 0-2-0 to start the season, scoring just three goals in their two games in Nashville.

Thomas Greiss
Korpisalo led the Blue Jackets.

Korpisalo allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Blue Jackets 3-1 loss in Nashville on opening night. Elvis Merzlikins allowed five goals in his season debut on Saturday, so they'll come back to Korpisalo as the Blue Jackets search for their first win of the season today in Detroit. Korpisalo was 2-0-0 with a 3.55 HAA and .851 SV% in two games vs. the Red Wings last season.

Joonas Korpisalo
Andersen will start Monday vs. the Jets.

Andersen allowed five goals on 24 shots in the Maple Leafs' 5-3 loss in Ottawa last Friday. It was a terrible outing for Andersen, who has now given up nine goals on 56 shots (.839 SV)% to open the season. After not even dressing for rest purposes on Saturday, the Maple Leafs will try to get Andersen going tonight vs. a Patrik Laine-less Jets team.

Frederik Andersen
Rask will start Monday against the Islanders.

Rask allowed two goals on 22 shots in the Bruins shootout win in New Jersey on opening night. Rask wasn't tested often but he made a number of huge saves, especially in overtime and earned his first win of the season. Jaroslav Halak started Saturday but they'll come back to Rask tonight vs. the Islanders. Rask was 2-0-1 with a 1.29 GAA and .952 SV% in three games against the Islanders last season.

Tuukka Rask
Andersen is in the "starter's" net at the Maple Leafs morning skate.

Varlamov (upper-body) is available to play Monday vs. the Bruins.

Varlamov was scheduled to start Saturday but took a puck up high in warmups and ended up not playing. Head coach Barry Trotz said that both Varlamov and Ilya Sorokin are available to start on Monday but did not name a starter. We will get confirmation once warmups start at 4:30 PM ET.

Semyon Varlamov
Hart will start Monday vs. the Sabres.

Hart made 31 saves on 33 shots in the Flyers win over the Penguins last Friday. Hart has had a strong start to the season, winning each of his first two starts while stopping 62 of 67 shots (.925 SV%). With a back-to-back starting on Monday, the Flyers will go with Hart tonight and Brian Elliott on Tuesday.

Carter Hart
The Maple Leafs have promoted Pierre Engvall from the AHL to the Taxi squad.

Nick Robertson was hurt over the weekend and is expected to miss some time, so Engvall comes up from the AHL and should be in the lineup on Monday evening. The 24-year-old Engvall had eight goals and seven assists (15 points) in 48 games with the Maple Leafs last season.

Pierre Engvall
Miller (COVID-19) returned to practice on Sunday; could make his season debut on Monday.

Miller missed the first three games of the season in COVID-19 protocol but is expected to play Monday in Calgary. Miller was removed from the COVID list and will presumably re-claim his spot on the Canucks’ top line with Elias Pettersson and Brock Boeser on Monday. Miller is coming off of a caerer-high 72 points (27G / 45A) in 69 games a season ago.
