Shesterkin allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Rangers win over the Capitals last Thursday. After a tough start to the season, Shesterkin is settling in, winning three in a row while stopping 79 of the 84 shots (.940 SV%) that he's faced. Tonight he'll look for revenge against an Islanders team, who scored four goals on 33 shots against him in the season opener.

Elliott allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Flyers loss to the Bruins last Friday. Elliott has played extremely well in the first month of the 2021 season, leading to more playing time for the veteran. After having his three-game winning streak snapped, Elliott enters play at 3-1-0 with a 2.19 GAA and .929 SV% though four starts and one relief appearance.

Haas was hurt last Tuesday vs. the Senators and lands on IR to open up a roster spot to recall Tyler Ennis from the taxi squad. There's no word how long Haas is expected to be sidelined.

Johansen will be placed on IR with an upper-body injury that is expected to sideline him for at least a couple of weeks. With Johansen out, Calle Jarnkrok will continue to centre the Predators second line on Monday.

Foote played in six straight games but will sit Monday in Nashville. With Foote being replaced by Alexander Volkov, the Lightning will go back to the traditional 12 forwards and six defensemen look.

Chatfield was an ugly minus-4 in the Canucks loss in Toronto on Saturday. Chatfield has struggled recently, so Olli Juolevi will replace him on Monday.

Juolevi will suit up for the first time since January 25th after sitting as a healthy scratch for seven straight games. Juolevi, who will replace Jalen Chatfield, has one goal and five shots in seven games this season.

Smith missed 12 of the first 13 games of the 2021 season with an undisclosed injury but will make his debut Monday in Ottawa. Smith struggled in 2020, going 19-12-6 with a 2.95 GAA and .902 SV%. Monday's matchup will see him face a Senators team that is 2-9-1 but have played better in their last two games.

Binnington allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Blues loss to the Coyotes last Thursday. With Ville Husso starting on Saturday, Binnington getting the nod on Monday should come as no surprise. Binnington has won four of his last five starts while turning aside 144 of the 157 shots (.917 SV%) that he faced.

Holtby surrendered five goals on 31 shots in the Canucks loss in Toronto on Saturday. Despite the rough outing, the Canucks will stick with Holtby in their third straight game vs. the Maple Leafs. In his first seven games of 2021, Holtby is 3-4-0 with 3.83 GAA and .888 SV%.
