Subban is in the starter's crease at the Blackhawks morning skate.

Subban allowed three goals on 39 shots in the Blackhawks loss in Nashville on January 26th. Kevin Lankinen has emerged as the Blackhawks' No.1 netminder through the first month of the season, so Thursday would be just Subban's second start of the season. He's allowed eight goals on 72 shots (.889 SV%) in his those two outings, both losses.

Malcolm Subban
Brannstrom is expected to make his season debut on Thursday.

Brannstrom was promoted from the AHL to the taxi squad on Wednesday and will likely be moved to the active roster prior to Thursday's game in Montreal. Brannstrom skated with Erik Gudbranson in Thursday's morning skate and will likely play on PP2 as well. The 21-year-old defenseman has four assists in 33 career NHL games.

Erik Brannstrom
Petan will make his season debut on Thursday.

Petan has sat for the first 10 games of the season but will replace Pierre Engvall in the lineup Thursday vs. the Canucks. The 25-year-old spent most of last season in the AHL, posting 31 points (10G /21A) in 25 games, adding three assists in 16 NHL games.

Nic Petan
Price will start Thursday vs. the Senators.

Price allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Canadiens win over the Canucks on Monday. After starting the season at 1-0-2, Price has won three straight while turning aside 73 of the 79 shots (.924 SV%) that he's faced. He is a must-start Thursday vs. a Senators team that that is on a nine-game losing streak and sit 26th in the NHL in goals per game (2.40).

Carey Price
Nash will be back in the Blue Jackets lineup on Thursday.

Nash was a healthy scratch with Patrik Laine making his Blue Jackets debut on Tuesday but he will replace Liam Foudy in the rematch on Thursday. Nash has just one assist and 10 shots while playing 13:39 ATOI in his first 10 games of the season.

Riley Nash
Korpisalo will start Thursday vs. the Stars.

Korpisalo allowed five goals on 23 shots in the Blue Jackets loss to the Stars on Tuesday. Elvis Merzlikins appeared to suffer an injury in Tuesday's practice, which is likely why the Blue Jackets will go back to Korpisalo in tonight's rematch. Korpisalo has had a tough time on home-ice so far, going 0-1-2 with a 4.11 GAA and .879 SV% in his first three starts at Nationwide Arena.

Joonas Korpisalo
Raanta will start Thursday in St. Louis.

Raanta allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Coyotes win over the Sharks on January 16th. Raanta missed some time with an undisclosed injury but will return to the crease on Thursday. Raanta has been solid since joining the Coyotes in 2018, going 42-37-9 with a 2.47 GAA and .924 SV% but draws a tough assignment in St. Louis.

Antti Raanta
Kakko (COVID-19) is expected to play on Thursday.

A couple of days after being added to the COVID-19 protocol list, Kakko was on the ice for practice on Wednesday and is expected to play on Thursday. This suggests that Kakko had a false positive test, which is great news for the Rangers, who are already without Filip Chytil and Colin Blackwell. Kakko skated on a line with Artemi Panarin and Ryan Strome in Wednesday's practice.

Kaapo Kakko
Jarnkrok (undisclosed) is expected to be activated from IR and play on Thursday.

Jarnkrok has been out since the third game of the season but head coach John Hynes said that he "looked good" in practice on Wednesday and he "anticipates" he'll play on Thursday. The Predators placed Brad Richardson on IR on Wednesday, clearing the way for Jarnkrok to be activated.

Calle Jarnkrok
Bobrovsky will start Thursday vs. the Predators.

Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Panthers' win in Detroit last Saturday. After sitting on Sunday, Bobrovsky will draw back into the crease Thursday vs. the Predators. He has won each of his first three starts of the season, allowing nine goals on 85 shots (.894 SV%). Tonight he'll face a Predators team that has lost five of their last seven games.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Shesterkin will start Thursday vs. the Capitals.

Shesterkin allowed one goal on 26 shots in the Rangers' win over the Penguins on Monday. After a slow start to the season, Shesterkin has now won two in a row while stopping 48 of the 51 shots (.941 SV%) that he's faced. Tonight he faces a Capitals team that have won three of their last four and continue to get players back from COVID-19 reserve list.
