Vasilevskiy is expected to start Thursday vs. the Canadiens.

Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 35 shots in the Lightning's loss to the Bruins on Tuesday. Vasilevskiy has gone 1-4-0 with a 4.27 GAA and .863 SV% in his last five starts and will make his 50th start of the season tonight vs. Montreal. He has gone 3-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .948 SV% in his first three games vs. the Canadiens this season.

Anisimov (upper-body) will not play on Thursday.

Anisimov suffered an upper-body injury early in Tuesday's loss to the Penguins and won't play tonight vs. the Islanders. With Anisimov out, Anthony Duclair is expected to replace him and Nick Paul is expected to shift to centre.

Anderson is in the starter's net at the Senators morning skate.

Anderson surrendered seven goals on 35 shots in the Senators loss in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Andersen has lost three straight while giving up 13 goals on 105 shots (.876 SV%). In his first start against the Islanders, Anderson allowed four goals on 32 shots in a 4-1 loss in early-November.

The Capitals have signed Damien Riat to a two-year entry-level contract.

Riat was a fourth-round pick of the Capitals (No.117 overall) in 2016 and has remained in the Swiss-A league since. This season the 6-foot, 172 lbs. winger has scored 11 goals with 11 assists (22 points) in 36 games with Biel HC.

Bishop (lower-body) is expected to be available on Thursday.

Bishop did not dress on Tuesday due to a minor lower-body injury but is expected to at least back up on Thursday. Jake Oettinger was sent back to the AHL on Wednesday, clearing the way for Bishop to suit up in Nashville. It’s unclear whether he or Anton Khudobin will get the nod.

van Riemsdyk suffered a broken hand on Wednesday.

van Riemsdyk left Wednesday’s game after blocking a Jonas Siegenthaler shot and did not return. van Riemsdyk immediately underwent X-rays and it was determined that he suffered a broken right hand and will be sidelined for some time. Head coach Alain Vigneault did not know the severity of it post-game but expect him to be re-evaluated and for the Flyers to release a detailed timeline prior to Thursday’s game vs. the Hurricanes. Joel Farabee was recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL) and will replace van Riemsdyk in the lineup on Thursday.

Farabee has scored three goals with one assist in five AHL games since being sent down on February 24th. With James van Riemsdyk suffering a broken hand last night, Farabee is expected to jump right back into the Flyers lineup on Thursday. He has picked up 20 points (7G / 13A) in 49 games with Philadelphia this season.

Jones will start Thursday vs. the Wild.

Jones allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Sharks win over the Maple Leafs on Tuesday. Jones is red-hot right now, winning three in a row, which will result in him getting a fourth straight on Thursday. During that stretch, Jones has posting a 1.33 GAA, .950 SV% and one shutout. Less than a month ago, he posted a 39-save shutout against these Wild.

Hart will start Thursday vs. the Hurricanes.

Hart allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Flyers win in New York on Sunday. With Brian Elliott going last night in Washington, Hart will start tonight vs. the Hurricanes. Hart is on a six-game home winning streak, stopping 163 of the 176 shots (.926 SV%) that he faced. In his first start vs. the Hurricanes, Hart stopped 33 of 34 shots in a 4-1 win (Nov.5).

Korpisalo allowed three goals on 39 shots in the Blue Jackets win over the Canucks. Korpisalo has gone 2-1-0 with a 3.82 GAA and .884 SV% in three games since returning from injury and is expected to start for the fourth time in five games on Wednesday. Tonight he faces a Flames team that is struggling on home-ice, losing six of their last seven while being outscored 35-to-23.

Demko allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Canucks’ loss in Toronto last Saturday. Since Jacob Markstrom got hurt, Demko has gone 1-2-0 while allowing 10 goals on 83 shots (.892 SV%). He’s got a nice matchup vs. an Arizona team that is 1-9-1 while scoring just 1.55 goals per game in their last 11 road games.

Kuemper allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Coyotes loss to the Panthers last Tuesday. With Antti Raanta starting last Saturday, Kuemper has had over one week off. He was solid in his return from injury and is 9-2-1 with a 1.95 GAA and .933 SV% on the road this year. The Canucks are 12-2-1 while scoring 3.39 goals per game in their last 15 home games.

Burakovsky did not come out for Colorado's morning skate and will not play tonight vs. the Ducks. Head coach Jared Bednar expects him to miss a few more games, so don't expect to see him Friday in Vancouver or Sunday in San Jose. Vladislav Namestnikov will remain on the top line with Burakovsky out.
