Marchand will be out until February 24th in Seattle and this suspension will leave the Bruins without Marchand and Patrice Bergeron on Thursday. Bergeron is dealing with an upper-body injury that he suffered on Tuesday. Jake DeBrusk will move up to the top-6 tomorrow with Marchand out.

The Golden Knights are in the second half of a back-to-back and Stone will not be available against the Flames. Evgeni Dadonov will likely move up to into the top-6 to replace Stone.







Cholowski was picked by the Kraken in the expansion draft but they lost him to the Capitals on waivers in October. Re-claiming him means they are able to send him to the AHL. Cholowski has one assist in seven games this season.

Holtby has not played since January 28th but will be available as a backup on Wednesday. Holtby could start later this week, either Friday vs. the Jets or Sunday vs. the Avalanche.

Kiviranta missed the last game before the All-Star break due to a lower-body injury but is expected to be back in the lineup on Wednesday. Kiviranta, who will skate in the Stars' bottom-6 has just four points (1G / 3A) in 35 games this season.

Robertson was sent home on Tuesday to treat an eye infection but was on the ice for Wednesday's morning skate and is expected to play vs. Nashville. Robertson comes in with nine goals and 12 assists (21 points) in his last 16 games.

Connolly played in three straight games but will be replaced by Josiah Slavin, who was called up from the AHL after the All-Star break. Connolly has not registered a point in seven games this season.

Gustafsson played in 10 straight games but will be replaced by Jakub Galvas in the lineup on Wednesday. Gustafsson had registered one goal and six assists (seven points) in his previous 10 games.

Slavin was called up from Rockford (AHL) after the All-Star break and will play in his 11th career NHL game on Wednesday. The 23-year-old forward will replace Brett Connolly in the lineup and has one assist in his first 10 games.

Galvas was called up from Rockford (AHL) after the All-Star break and will play in his fourth career NHL game on Wednesday. The 22-year-old, who has one goal and eight assists (nine points) in 28 AHL games, will replace Erik Gustafsson on the blueline.


Matthews was forced to leave Monday's game after taking an accidental knee to the head from Brett Pesce but was on the ice for Wednesday's practice and says he'll play Thursday.
