Talbot is expected to start Game 2 vs. the Jets.

Talbot stopped 17 of 18 shots in the Flames Game 1 win over the Jets. It's probably the easiest win Talbot will ever get in the postseason. Today the Jets will be shorthanded with both Mark Scheifele and Patrik Laine getting injured in Game 1. Talbot was 2-2-0 with a 3.01 GAA and .913 SV% in four afternoon starts during the 2020 seaosn.

Cam Talbot
Mrazek will start Game 2 vs. the Rangers.

Mrazek stopped 24 of 26 shots in the Hurricanes 3-2 win over the Rangers in Game 1. In typical Hurricanes fashion, Henrik Lundqvist was a lot busier in the first game of the series but Mrazek stood tall when he was called upon. Mrazek is now 6-5-0 with an .896 SV% in 12 career playoff games with the Hurricanes.

Petr Mrazek
Murray will start Game 2 vs. the Canadiens.

Murray allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Penguins' 3-2 overtime loss to the Canadiens in Game 1. Despite the loss, the Penguins will go right back to their more experienced netminder in Game 2. Dating back to the 2018 playoffs, Murray has lost seven straight playoff games, while posting a 2.89 GAA and .905 SV%.

Matt Murray
Lundqvist led the Rangers onto the ice for warmups in Game 2.

Lundqvist gave up a goal on the first shot that he faced in Game 1 but settled in, stopping 34 of 37 shots in a 3-2 loss. He was a surprise starter with Igor Shesterkin deemed "unfit to play" and that will be the case again in Game 2. Lundqvist has now lost his last three playoff starts dating back to 2017, giving up 11 goals on 99 shots (.889 SV%).

Henrik Lundqvist
Stamkos (undisclosed) is not expected to play on Monday.

Stamkos didn't practice Saturday after training in three-straight sessions with his teammates in Toronto on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Head coach Jon Cooper said they never really had plans for Stamkos to play in Game 1 of the round-robin. With Stamkos likely out, Ondrej Palat will move to the top line with Brayden Point and Nikita Kucherov.

Steven Stamkos
Caggiula was suspended for one game for his hit to the head on Tyler Ennis in Game 1.

Caggiula will be forced to miss Game 2 after being handed a one-game suspension on Sunday. Head coach Jeremy Colliton did not announce who will take hiss place in the lineup but Dylan Sikura seems like the logical choice.

Drake Caggiula
Carlson (undisclosed) is questionable to play Monday vs. the Lightning.

Carlson was nicked up in the Capitals' exhibition game but practiced returned to practice on Saturday. Given the fact that the Capitals are already locked into a playoff spot, they may play it safe with their star defenseman. Head coach Todd Reirden said that Carlson's status for Monday is still TBD, so consider him a game-time decision and check on his status during warmups.

John Carlson
Holtby will start Monday vs. the Lightning.

Holtby split time with Ilya Samsonov during the regular season but will be leaned on heavily during the postseason with Samsonov out. Holtby was 25-14-6 with a 3.11 GAA and .897 SV% in the playoffs, including a 2-0-0 record with a 1.95 GAA and .930 SV% against the high-scoring Tampa Bay Lightning.

Braden Holtby
Fast (undisclosed) will not play in Game 2 on Monday.

Fast was hurt on his first shift of the series while absorbing a hit from Hurricanes defenseman and former teammate Brady Skjei. Fast never returned to Game 1 and will not be available for Game 2. Look for Steven Fogarty to take his place in the lineup but for Kaapo Kakko to move up into the top-6 with Artemi Panarin and Ryan Strome.

Jesper Fast
Lehner will start Monday vs. the Stars.

Lehner started the 2020 season in Chicago, where he was 16-10-5 with a 3.01 GAA and .918 SV% on one of the worst defensive teams in hockey. After he was traded to Vegas, he went 3-0-0 with a 1.67 GAA and .940 SV%. Him and Marc-Andre Fleury will likely get a look during the round-robin but it will be Lehner first. He's a great option tonight vs. a Stars team that has struggled to score all season, ranking 26th in GF/gm (2.58).
