Foligno suffered an upper-body injury midway though Monday's loss to the Ducks. He will not travel on their upcoming three-game road trip, so Jesper Froden was recalled and will join the team.

Toninato will not be available for Tuesday's game vs. the Panthers, so look for Evgeny Svechnikov to replace him on the Jets' fourth line.

Mackenzie Blackwood was moved to IR on Wednesday, so Schmid was recalled to pair with Jon Gillies as the Devils' goaltending duo moving forward. Schmid, who was a fifth-round pick in 2018, has been excellent in the AHL, going 9-0-2 with a 1.54 GAA and .948 SV% in 11 games.

Blackwood served as the backup on Monday but the Devils said that he was dealing with something and wasn't 100 percent. Moving him to IR opens up a roster spot to recall Akira Schmid from Utica (AHL) to serve as the Devils' backup behind Jon Gillies.

Kassian missed Saturday's win over the Flames but is expected to be back in the lineup on Tuesday. Kassian, who has five goals and eight assists (13 points) in 28 games, will skate on the third line with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Brendan Perlini.

Nugent-Hopkins has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury but is set to play Tuesday in Vancouver. The Oilers will go with a different look, centring the third line with Zack Kassian and Brendan Perlini, instead of playing with Leon Draisaitl.

Blueger underwent successful surgery to repair his fractured jaw on Monday and will miss at least six weeks. With Blueger out, Brian Boyle will likely be the permanent replacement on the fourth line.

Girgensons has missed the last five games with a lower-body injury but is set to play Tuesday in Ottawa. Girgensons will be on the fourth line with Cody Eakin and John Hayden.

Mittelstadt will play for the first time since December 7th and is expected to centre the second line with Peyton Krebs and Anders Bjork. Mittelstadt has scored one goal on seven shots in four games this season.
