Price will start Wednesday in Boston.

Price gave up three goals on 34 shots in the Canadiens loss to the Coyotes on Monday. The loss snapped a brief two-game winning streak for Price, who has had a tough time with the Bruins this season. In three meetings, he's 1-2-0 while allowing a combined 12 goals on 70 shots (.829 SV%).

Carey Price
Kadri (lower-body) will miss 4-to-6 weeks.

The Avalanche originally listed Kadri as week-to-week but head coach Jared Bednar gave a more detailed timetable on Wednesday. Their second-line centre will miss at least one month, which means J.T. Compher will get an extended look in the top-6 and could put Colorado in the market for a centre at the trade deadline.

Nazem Kadri
Markstrom will start Wednesday vs. the Blackhawks.

Markstrom allowed two goals on 38 shots in the Canucks win over the Predators on Monday. It was a terrific performance that snapped a three-game losing streak for Markstrom. He comes in at 1-1-0 while surrendering eight goals on 68 shots (.882 SV%) in two games vs. the Blackhawks this season.

Jacob Markstrom
Rittich will start Wednesday in Los Angeles.

Rittich allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Flames win in San Jose on Monday. Rittich has been really strong in the first two games of their California road trip, stopping 59 of 63 shots (.937 SV%) and will go for his third straight win tonight in Los Angels. He is surprisingly 0-1-1 with a 4.80 GAA and .882 SV% in two games vs. the Flames this season.

The Kings have recalled Martin Frk from Ontario (AHL).

Frk, who won the hardest shot competition in the AHL, has scored 23 goals with 13 assists (36 points) in 37 AHL games this season. Scoring in the AHL has never been his issue, but he has just 15 goals and 19 assists (34 points) in 104 career NHL games.

Martin Frk
The Maple Leafs have signed Pierre Engvall to a two-year contract extension worth $2.5 million ($1.25M AAV).

Engvall has made a splash in his first NHL season, scoring seven goals with seven assists (14 points) in 35 games. The former seventh-round pick was over a point-per-game during his time in AHL this season and his two-year extension suggests that he's in Toronto's bottom-6 plans for 2021.

Pierre Engvall
Cizikas will miss 3-to-4 weeks with a leg laceration.

Cizikas suffered a cut on his leg in Tuesday's win over the Flyers and will miss at least three weeks. This is a huge blow for the Islanders, Cizikas often serves as a shutdown centre and is one of their top penalty killers. Cole Bardreau was recalled to take his spot on the roster.

Price is expected to start Wednesday in Boston.

Carey Price
Rask will start Wednesday vs. the Canadiens.

Rask allowed two goals on 19 shots in the Bruins loss in Detroit on Sunday. Rask was not scheduled to start but replaced Jaroslav Halak, who was hurt in warmups. Rask is a stellar 12-0-6 with a 2.07 GAA and .930 SV% on home ice this season and is 1-1-0 while stopping 54 of 60 shots (.900 SV%) in two games vs. the Canadiens.

Tuukka Rask
Nordstrom is expected to be back in the Bruins lineup on Wednesday.

Nordstrom missed the last four games with an allergy-related issue but is set to return tonight vs. the Canadiens. Nordstrom has seven points (4G / 3A) in 39 games this season and is not a fantasy option on the Bruins fourth line.

Joakim Nordstrom
Kucherov left Tuesday's game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Kucherov got tangled up with Jack Johnson late in the second period and limped to the bench and down the tunnel. Kucherov did not return for the third period and head coach Jon Cooper did not have an update post-game. Consider Kucherov day-to-day with a lower-body injury until they release more information.
