Karlsson (finger) is expected to return to the Golden Knights lineup on Tuesday.

Karlsson missed the last eight games with a broken finger but is expected to play tomorrow in Minnesota. At Monday's practice, Karlsson centred the Golden Knights' third line and top power-play. He returns with 10 goals and 24 assists (34 points) in 49 games this season.

The Bruins have assigned Karson Kuhlman to Providence (AHL).

Kuhlman played in nine straight games with the Bruins but heads back to the AHL with Danton Heinen returning to the lineup on Sunday. Kuhlman scored one goal with four assists (five points) in those nine games. The 24-year-old has five points (4G / 1A) in six AHL games this season.

Merzlikins will start Monday vs. the Lightning.

Merzlikins allowed two goals on 22 shots in the Blue Jackets loss to the Avalanche. Merzlikins actually lost a game. It happened. Still, it was a strong showing for the rookie netminder, who is 8-1-0 with a 1.12 GAA, .962 SV% and five shutouts in the last month. Tonight he faces a Lightning team that has gone 18-2-1 in his last 21 games, but Merzlikins is too hot to put on your bench right now.

Elvis Merzlikins
Shesterkin will start Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Shesterkin stopped 42 of 43 shots in the Rangers win over the Kings on Monday. It was another outstanding outing from the rookie netminder, who is on a three-game winning streak while stopping 92 of the 98 shots (.939 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he'll look to defeat a Jets team that is on a five-game point streak (4-0-1) while averaging 4.00 goals for and 2.00 goals against per game.

Igor Shesterkin
Bobrovsky will start Monday in Philadelphia.

Bobrovsky allowed three goals on 22 shots in the Panthers' 3-2 loss in Philadelphia on Saturday. Bobrovsky has lost three in a row while giving up 10 goals on 96 shots (.896 SV%) but tonight he faces a Flyers team that he's had a lot of success against in his career. Since leaving the Flyers, Bob is 15-3-1 with a 2.13 GAA and .928 SV% in 19 career starts against them.

Sergei Bobrovsky
The Maple Leafs have recalled Pontus Aberg from Toronto (AHL).

John Tavares (illness), Zach Hyman (bumps and bruises) and Kyle Clifford (personal) were all absent from practice on Monday which is why Aberg was recalled. The 26-year-old has scored 16 goals with 22 assists (38 points) in 43 AHL games this season.

Pontus Aberg
Fabbri (jaw) is questionable to play on Tuesday.

Fabbri left Sunday's game vs. the Bruins after being hit by Chris Wagner and did not return. Head coach Jeff Blashill clarified that Fabbri is dealing with a jaw injury and is questionable to play Tuesday in Buffalo. Luckily for the Red Wings, they will be getting Anthony Mantha back.

Robby Fabbri
McElhinney will start Monday in Columbus.

McElhinney stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Lightning's shutout win in San Jose on February 1st. McElhinney has gone 3-2-0 with a 1.83 GAA, .925 SV% and one shutout in his last five starts. Tonight he'll face his former team in Columbus, who will be without seven members of their regular lineup. Still, they've been banged up seemingly all season and come in having won nine of their last 11 (9-1-1).

Curtis McElhinney
Stamkos (lower-body) will not play on Monday.

Stamkos did not come out for the Lightning's morning skate and will not play tonight in Columbus. Stamkos is day-to-day with a lower-body injury, so Mathieu Joseph was recalled from Syracuse (AHL) and will draw into the lineup. Ondrej Palat will move to the top-line with Brayden Point and Nikita Kucherov.

Steven Stamkos
Greiss will start Monday in Washington.

Greiss allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Islanders win over the Kings on Thursday. In his last six starts, Greiss has gone 4-0-2 with a 2.38 GAA and .923 SV% and on Monday he'll face the Capitals for the first time this season. Washington has surprisingly lost three of their last four home games but averaged 3.25 goals for in those games.

Thomas Greiss
Byron (knee) will not play Monday but is expected to travel on their two-game road trip.

Byron has been out since mid-November but it looks like he could get back into the lineup at some point this week. He will travel to Boston and Pittsburgh and could make his return either Tuesday or Thursday.
