Oleksiak, who missed practice yesterday due to a non-COVID illness, will be re-evaluated but is doubtful as of now to be in tonight.

Kuhlman was claimed off of waivers from the Bruins this week and will make his debut vs. the Sharks. Kuhlman, who has one goal and one assist in 19 games this season, will start on the third line with Morgan Geekie and Joonas Donskoi.

Vatrano has no goals and two assists in his last seven games and will be a healthy scratch on Thursday. Vatrano will be replaced but Maxim Mamin.

Hornqvist suffered an upper-body injury midway through Tuesday's loss in Calgary. Owen Tippett will draw into the lineup to replace Hornqvist, who is listed as day-to-day.

Tippett was recalled from the AHL prior to Tuesday's game but served as a healthy scratch. Tippett will replace Patric Hornqvist (undisclosed) in the lineup against the Oilers. Tippett has scored four goals with seven assists (11 points) in 33 games this season.

Mamin was a healthy scratch in Calgary but will replace Frank Vatrano in the lineup on Thursday. Mamin has five goals and two assists (seven points) in 20 games this season.

Quinton Byfield was called up from the AHL this morning and will replace Kupari on the third line vs. the Avalanche.

Turcotte will come out of the lineup after playing five straight games, with Carl Grundstrom drawing into the lineup to replace him. Turcotte has gone pointless in his first eight games.

Tonight will be Grundstrom's first game since January 1st, as he replaces Alex Turcotte on the third line with Quinton Byfield and Dustin Brown. Grundstrom has five goals and three assists in 26 games this season.




Stone will come out of the Golden Knights lineup on Thursday after being placed in COVID-19 protocol. Either Brett Howden or Adam Brooks are expected to draw into the lineup to replace Stone.

Quinn played in one game with the Sabres earlier in the season and is set to play in the top-6 on Thursday. The 20-year-old winger currently leads Rochester (AHL) with 35 points (18G / 17A) in 24 games.

Russell will play for the first time since December 9th and re-enters the lineup with just two assists in 14 games this season. He'll be back on the third pairing and in a penalty-killing role.

Perlini was missing from Wednesday's practice but will play Thursday. Perlini, who has goals in back-to-back games, is expected to start on the top line with Connor McDavid and Kailer Yamamoto.

Svechnikov missed Tuesday's game in Washington but will be back in the lineup on Thursday. Svechnikov is expected to start in the bottom-6 and has 10 points (3G / 7A) in 31 games this season.
