The Flames have recalled Brandon Davidson from Stockton (AHL).
Davidson, who has 20 points (3G / 17A) in 34 AHL games this season. With Mark Giordano out for at least one week, Davidson will serve as the Flames' No.7 defenseman.

Giordano underwent an MRI on Wednesday and will miss at least one week with a hamstring injury. Rasmus Andersson will likely move up to the top power-play unit and Brandon Davidson was recalled to take his spot on the roster.
Soucy (illness) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.
Soucy will be replaced by Greg Pateryn if he can't play but monitor his status when the Wild hit the ice for warmups at 7:30 PM ET.
Subban (illness) will return to the Devils lineup on Thursday.
Subban missed Tuesday's game vs. the Canadiens but will play tonight in Philadelphia. With Subban back, Colton White will sit. He re-enters the lineup with 11 points (6G / 5A) in 51 games this season.
Goalie Start
Binnington will start Thursday vs. the Jets.
Binnington allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Blues win over the Hurricanes on Tuesday. Binnington recorded his 24th win of the season but has now given up three-plus goals in five consecutive starts. The second-year netminder is now 16-3-4 with a 2.23 GAA, .921 SV% and one shutout on home ice this season and is 2-1-0 with a 2.64 GAA and .907 SV% in three games vs. the Jets.
Goalie Start
Blackwood will start Thursday in Philadelphia.
Blackwood allowed five goals on 30 shots in the Devils loss to the Predators last Thursday. Louis Domingue started the last two games they'll go to Blackwood tonight in Philadelphia. He has lost 1-2-2 with a 4.20 GAA and .878 SV% in his last six outings (five starts) and gets set to face a Flyers team that has gone 4-0-1 while averaging 3.80 goals per game in their last five games.
Boyle (undisclosed) will be out “for at least the next game or so."
There has not been much of an update on Boyle's status since he missed Monday's game in Toronto but we know he'll miss at least one more game when the Panthers host the Golden Knights on Thursday.
Barkov (lower-body) will not play on Thursday.
Barkov joined his teammates for the morning skate but will not play vs. Vegas. The fact that he was able to skate this morning is a great sign that he's close and his teammates expect him back in the lineup on Saturday.
Goalie Start
Stalock will start Thursday vs. the Canucks.
Stalock allowed two goals on 29 shots inn the Wild's win over the Blackhawks on Tuesday. He has won three of his last four starts while posting a 2.24 GAA and .911 SV%. He's also been solid on home-ice going 8-2-1 with a 2.33 GAA and .916 SV% on home-ice this season. The Canucks come in at 2-1-1 in the first four games of their road-trip that wraps up tonight.
Hagg will be a healthy scratch on Thursday.
Hagg will become the Flyers seventh defenseman with Shayne Gostisbehere returning from a knee injury on Thursday. That spot used to belong to Philippe Myers but he has leaped over Hagg on the depth chart with some strong play as of late.
Gostisbehere (knee) will return to the Flyers lineup on Thursday.
Gostisbehere has missed the last 10 games with a knee injury but will replace Robert Hagg tonight vs. the Devils. Gostisbehere has had a tough season, scoring just five goals with seven assists (12 points) in 40 games.
Andreoff was recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL) and will play on Thursday.
With Joel Farabee out with an illness, Andreoff will suit up for his 14th NHL game of the season on Thursday. He has just one assist in his previous 13 and 10 points (6G / 4A) in 25 AHL games this season.
Farabee (illness) will not play on Thursday.
Farabee missed Wednesday's practice and will miss Thursday's game vs. the Devils. This is a tough break for Farabee, who had scored four goals with two assists and 12 shots in his last six games. Andy Andreoff was recalled from the AHL to take his place on the roster.
Dahlin (upper-body) will not play Thursday vs. the Red Wings.
Dahlin will miss his second straight game with an upper-body injury and remains day-to-day. He has not been ruled out for tomorrow's game in New York.
Larsson (lower-body) will return to the Sabres lineup on Thursday.
Larsson missed Tuesday's blowout loss to the Avalanche but will play tonight vs. the Red Wings. Larsson, who has 12 points (4G / 8A) in 46 games this season, is expected to centre the fourth line with Zemgus Girgensons and J-S Dea on his wings.
Weal (illness) will not play on Thursday.
Weal continues to battle the flu and will miss his third straight game on Thursday. Ryan Poehling had been replacing him in the lineup but now it's believed that Poehling is also sick.
Mete is expected to be back in the Canadiens lineup on Thursday.
Mete missed Tuesday's game in New Jersey with an illness but is expected to play vs. the Ducks. This is good news for the Canadiens, who announced they'll be without Shea Weber for at least one week this morning.
Poehling (undisclosed) is questionable to play Thursday vs. the Ducks.
There is no indication what Poehling is dealing with but a flu bug has been going through the Habs room, so it could be that. Consider Poehling a game-time decision and monitor his status as they hit the ice for warmups at 6:30 PM ET.

Weber missed Wednesday's practice and when head coach Claude Julien met with the media this morning he announced that Weber will go on IR, meaning he misses at least one week. With Weber out, the Canadiens have recalled Xavier Ouellet from Laval (AHL).
