McLeod has scored one goal with four assists (five points) in seven games with Bakersfield this season. He'll replace Devin Shore on the roster with Shore landing on IR. McLeod has registered just one assist in 12 career NHL games.

Barkov missed Saturday's game vs. the Hurricanes but will be a game-time decision on Monday. Barkov was on the ice for the morning skate but skated on the "fifth line," so he looks like a true game-time decision.

Knight allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Panthers' win over the Hurricanes on Saturday. Even without Aleksander Barkov, the Panthers continued their winning ways. In his first five starts of the season, Knight has gone 4-0-1 with a 2.51 GAA and .918 SV%.
Wood underwent surgery on his right hip and is out indefinitely.
Wood suffered a hip injury during a preseason game on October 4th. "After exhausting all conservative measures, and in consultation with team medical providers and external specialists, Miles has elected to receive surgery," the Devils said in a release.
The Blackhawks have recalled Reese Johnson from Rockford (AHL).
Johnson has scored one goal and one assist in five AHL games this season. He returns to the Blackhawks, where he has failed to register a point in six games.

Chytil was hurt in his first shift on Saturday and will not play Monday vs. the Panthers. With Chytil out, Kevin Rooney will likely serve as the Rangers' No.3 centre.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
