Bennett (lower-body) will return to the Flames lineup on Tuesday.

Bennett missed the last 13 games with a lower-body injury but will play tonight vs. the Penguins. Bennett, who has just three goals and two assists (five points) in 20 games this season, will skate on the fourth-line with Tobias Rieder and Michael Frolik.

Sam Bennett
Merzlikins is expected to start Tuesday in Detroit.

Merzlikins was pulled after allowing two goals on eight shots in the Blue Jackets' loss in Ottawa on Saturday afternoon. Merzlikins is still searching for his first NHL win after starting his career 0-4-3 with a 3.41 GAA and .889 SV%. He has not played well but a matchup vs. the Red Wings is a great opportunity to mark one in the win column.

Elvis Merzlikins
Mrazek is expected to start Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Mrazek allowed one goal on 26 shots in the Hurricanes loss in Vancouver last Thursday. James Reimer started Saturday in Calgary but look for Mrazek to face the Jets on Tuesday. He has won 3-3-2 with a 2.94 GAA, .900 SV% and one shutout on the road this season, so this isn't the best matchup for the 27-year-old.

Petr Mrazek
Talbot will start Tuesday vs. the Penguins.

Talbot stopped 46 of the 48 shots that he faced in the Flames win in Arizona last Tuesday. Talbot has been impressive in his last two starts, going 2-0 while stopping 76 of the 81 shots (.938 SV%). He draws a tough matchup with the Penguins in town. Pittsburgh has gone 5-1-0 in their last six, will get Evgeny Malkin back tonight and will limit Talbot's goal-support.

Cam Talbot
Hellebuyck will start Tuesday vs. the Hurricanes.

Hellebuyck allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Jets win over the Flyers on Sunday. In his last seven starts (+ 2 relief appearances) Hellebuyck has gone 6-1-1 with a 2.09 GAA, .934 SV% and one shutout, but draws a tough assignment with the Hurricanes in town. Carolina has won four of their last five (4-0-1) while scoring 3.60 goals per game.

Connor Hellebuyck
Rinne is expected to start Tuesday against the Islanders.

Rinne gave up four goals on 22 shots in the Predators' loss to the Stars on Saturday. With Juuse Saros starting last night in New York, Rinne is expected to face the Isles on Tuesday night. Rinne has given up at least three goals in three straight games, allowing 11 goals on 86 shots (.872 SV%). Tonight he faces an Islanders team that is on a 13-game point streak on home ice, going 12-0-1 while scoring 3.54 goals per game.

Pekka Rinne
Andersen will start Tuesday vs. the Sabres.

Andersen allowed one goal on 37 shots in the Maple Leafs win in Edmonton on Saturday. Andersen has won three of their last four starts while posting a 2.04 GAA and .938 SV%. Tonight he will face the Sabres for the second time this season--he stopped 29 of 30 shots in a 2-1 OT win on November 30th.

Frederik Andersen
Vasilevskiy will start Tuesday vs. the Senators.

Vasilevskiy gave up four goals one 33 shots in the Lightning's loss to the Capitals on Saturday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Vasilevskiy, who is 4-2-0 with a 2.51 GAA and .917 SV% in six starts in December. He is a must-start against a Senators team that played last night and could start back-up Marcus Hogberg in the opposite crease.

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Howard has been placed on LTIR (retroactive to Nov.27) and been assigned to Grand Rapids (AHL).

Moving Howard provides the Red Wings with some salary-cap relief and making it retroactive to November 27th means he can return this week. Howard is expected to start with the Griffins on Tuesday night and could return to the Red Wings if he doesn't suffer a setback.
