Elliott will start Saturday vs. the Islanders.

Elliott allowed two goals on 40 shots in the Flyers win in Toronto last Sunday. Carter Hart started the last three games, including last night in Ottawa, so Elliott will face the Islanders on Saturday night. He is 2-0-1 with a 2.93 GAA and .897 SV% in three home starts and stopped all 19 shots he faced in relief in their first game vs. The Islanders.

Brian Elliott
Quick led the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick stopped 19 of 21 shots in the Kings overtime win over the Red Wings on Thursday. Quick has started to turn things around, winning two in a row while stopping 46 of 49 shots (.939 SV%). Those two games were against the Wild and Red Wings, who rank 26th and 31st in goal-scoring and today he faces a Vegas team that is averaging 2.85 goals per game (19th).

Jonathan Quick
Vasilevskiy led the Lightning onto the ice for warmups.

Vasilevskiy allowed three goals on 23 shots in the Lightning's win over the Rangers on Thursday. Vaislevksiy has won two in a row and enters play at 7-4-0 with a 3.01 GAA and .902 SV% on the season. Those are very un-Vasilevskiy-like but he appears to be settling into a groove. Saturday's matchup comes against a Jets team that is struggling to find offence consistently, so make sure Vasilevskiy is active in all formats.

The Canadiens have recalled Charles Hudon from Laval (AHL).

Hudon has played very well in the AHL, scoring nine goals with two assists (11 points) in 17 games this season. Hudon has played over 100 NHL games over the last two seasons but has just 39 points (13G / 26A) in 110 career games. He takes Jonathan Drouin's spot on the roster.

He's had a tough time on the road, going 3-2-0 with a 3.35 GAA and .912 SV% in five games.

The Golden Knights have signed Peyton Krebs to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Krebs was selected with the No.17 overall pick in this summer's draft. He tore his Achilles in June and recently started skating with the Golden Knights and inked his entry-level contract on Saturday afternoon. The 18-year-old had 68 points (19G / 49A) in 64 games with the Kootenay Ice (WHL), who he'll likely end up with when he's 100 percent healthy.
