Grubauer cleared waivers on Thursday and has been assigned to Coachella Valley (AHL).

Grubauer struggled on Tuesday night, allowing five goals on 22 shots (.773 SV%) in a 6-4 loss to the Anaheim Ducks, a common trend in his tenure with the Seattle Kraken. Before joining the expansion Kraken in the 2021-22 season, Grubauer has an impressive 2.34 GAA and .920 SV% in 214 career games (109-61-21). Since joining Seattle, he has been consistently unreliable, posting a 3.10 GAA and .890 SV% in 151 games (54-76-12). The 33-year-old Grubauer has not played an AHL game since the 2014-15 season with the Hershey Bears.

Philipp Grubauer
Burke has been recalled from Henderson (AHL).

Burke played six games with the Golden Knights this season but has spent most of the 2024-25 campaign in the AHL. The undrafted 27-year-old has 13 points (7G / 6A) in 34 games this season with the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL).

Cal Burke
Daccord was the first goalie off the ice at Seattle's morning skate.

Seattle has been outscored 10-6 during a two-game losing skid and will turn to Daccord between the pipes on Thursday against the San Jose Sharks. The 28-year-old Daccord has a solid 2.45 GAA and .916 SV% in 33 appearances this season (17-12-2). Seattle enters Thursday's contest as sizeable -191 home favorites against a Sharks squad coming off a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Joey Daccord
Evans (upper-body) will be out on Thursday vs. San Jose and is considered day-to-day.

Evans was a game-time decision over the weekend but did not miss any time and will now miss Thursday's game vs. San Jose with an upper-body injury. The 23-year-old Evans has 21 points (5G / 16A) in 50 games this season and is now considered day-to-day. Cale Fleury will draw into the lineup as Evans' replacement.

Ryker Evans
Fleury is expected to draw back into Seattle's lineup on Thursday vs. San Jose.

Fleury played two games with Seattle earlier this season but has primarily been in the AHL, recording 16 points (6G / 10A) in 28 games with the Coachella Valley Firebirds. The 26-year-old defenseman has two points (1G / 1A) in 65 career NHL games. Ryker Evans (undisclosed) will be the odd man out of the lineup to accommodate Fleury's return.

Cale Fleury
Lundkvist has been placed on IR with an upper-body injury retroactive to January 21st.

Lundkvist has not played the previous three games and will remain sidelined due to an upper-body injury after he was placed on IR retroactive to January 21st. The 24-year-old Lundkvist is averaging 15:01 time-on-ice, a slight uptick from last season, but has seen his production dip. He is averaging 0.13 points-per-game compared to the 0.32 he was averaging last season.

Nils Lundkvist
Skinner will draw back into Edmonton's lineup on Thursday vs. Detroit.

With Kasperi Kapanen battling an illness, Skinner gets the opportunity to re-enter the lineup for Edmonton on Thursday against the Detroit Red Wings. Skinner scored a goal in his last game, snapping a four-game pointless skid. He has 16 points (8G / 8A) in 44 games this season.

Jeff Skinner
Heiskanen is week-to-week with a lower-body injury.

Heiskanen exited Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Vegas Golden Knights in the third period with 19:50 time-on-ice after Mark Stone made contact with his knee in an awkward collision. The 25-year-old Heiskanen leads Dallas in time-on-ice (25:10) and will be sorely missed if he is out of the lineup for an extended period of time. Before his injury, Heiskanen had five points (0G / 5A) during a five-game point streak.

Miro Heiskanen
Klingberg is expected to make his Oilers' debut on Thursday vs. Detroit.

The Oilers signed Klingberg to a one-year, $1 million contract two weeks ago and, after practicing with the club for the past week, he will make his debut with the team on Thursday against the Detroit Red Wings. Klingberg hasn't played since undergoing hip surgery over a year ago after a brief 14-game stint with the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he scored five points (0G / 5A). The 32-year-old Klingberg isn't far removed from being one of the league's elite powerplay quarterbacks. He scored a career-high 67 points (8G / 59A) in 82 games with the Dallas Stars in the 2017-18 season. However, his production has dipped significantly in recent years, tallying only 85 points (16G / 69A) and a -60 plus/minus in his 155 most recent games. Given Evan Bouchard's dominance on Edmonton's top powerplay unit, it's unlikely that Klingberg will find himself in that position. Yet, he could still see an uptick in production considering the star power of his surrounding cast.

John Klingberg
Soderblom will start in Carolina on Thursday.

The Blackhawks are coming off an impressive 4-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning when Soderblom saved 34 of 35 shots (.971 SV%). The 25-year-old netminder will return to the crease on Thursday against the Carolina Hurricanes, looking to build on his 2.88 GAA and .910 SV% in 22 games (7-11-3). He has been stellar lately, posting a .940 SV% in three games (1-0-2). The Blackhawks enter Thursday's contest as enormous +359 road underdogs against a Hurricanes squad with points in six straight (5-0-1).

Arvid Soderblom
Capobianco has been recalled from the Texas Stars (AHL).

With Miro Heiskanen (lower body) out week-to-week, Dallas has recalled Capobianco from the Texas Stars (AHL). The 27-year-old Capobianco has been solid from the blue line at the AHL level, scoring 28 points (2G / 26A) in 35 games with Texas this season.

Kyle Capobianco
Tomkins has been recalled from Syracuse (AHL).

With Andrei Vasilevskiy (illness) questionable for Thursday's contest against the Los Angeles Kings and Jonas Johansson (lower body) day-to-day, Tampa Bay has recalled Tomkins from the Syracuse Crunch (AHL). The 30-year-old Tomkins has a 2.87 GAA and .900 SV% in 17 games (6-8-3) with Syracuse this season.

Matt Tomkins
Wolf will start vs. Anaheim on Thursday.

The Flames have lost two straight (0-2-0) and will attempt to return to the win column on Thursday with Wolf between the pipes against the Anaheim Ducks. The 23-year-old Wolf allowed three goals on 23 shots (.870 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 3-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. That contest aside, the rookie Wolf has been terrific lately, posting a .921 SV% across his previous 14 games (10-3-1). The Flames enter Thursday's contest as -183 home favorites against a Ducks squad that has outscored their opposition 16-7 during a three-game winning streak.

Dustin Wolf
Soderblom is expected to start in Carolina on Thursday.

Dach will draw back into Chicago's lineup on Thursday in Carolina.

Pat Maroon will be a healthy scratch on Thursday against the Carolina Hurricanes, allowing Dach to return to the lineup from a one-game absence. The 22-year-old Dach is averaging 11:37 time-on-ice and has four points (1G / 3A) in 11 games this season.
