Greiss allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Islanders win over the Blues on Monday. Greiss and Semyon Varlamov continue to split starts and tonight is Greiss’ turn in the rotation. He has started the season 2-1-0 with a 2.28 GAA and .925 SV% in his first three starts and should be a great option against a Blue Jackets team that is in the bottom-5 in scoring and on the tail-end of a back-to-back.

Kukan has been a healthy scratch for the last five games but will replace Ryan Murray (undisclosed) vs. the Islanders on Saturday. Kukan has just nine assists in 45 career NHL games.

Murray is day-to-day with an undisclosed injury but it’s not expected to keep him sidelined for very long. Dean Kukan will draw in for him tonight.

Korpisalo stopped 30 of 32 shots in the Blue Jackets win over the Stars on Wednesday. Korpisalo has won three of his last four starts while posting a 2.25 GAA and .914 SV% and has not given up more than two goals in three straight outings. The Islanders come in averaging just 2.43 goals per game (25th in the NHL) so Korpisalo makes for a decent option on the second-half of a back-to-back.

Jarry made 27 saves on 29 shots in the Penguins win in Winnipeg last Sunday. It was a great start to 2019-20 for Jarry, who gets the nod tonight vs. Marc-Andre Fleury and Vegas Golden Knights. Jarry had a .915 SV% in 47 AHL starts last year and a .907 SV% in 30 career NHL appearances. He’s a solid backup but not a great spot-start option against Vegas.

Bishop allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Stars loss in Columbus on Wednesday. After a dominant 2018-19 campaign, Bishop has struggled to start the year, posting 2.84 GAA and .899 SV% in six starts (1-4-1). Most of his struggles have come on the road, where he’s 1-3-0 with a 3.30 GAA and .891 SV% so far.

Gagner has two goals and two assists in his first four games with the Condors this season. During his brief time with the Oilers last season, the veteran forward collected 10 points (5G /5A) in 25 games.

Haas had one assist in his first five career NHL games after coming over from Switzerland this offseason. He will swap spots with Sam Gagner, who comes up from Bakersfield.

Rinne allowed two goals on 35 shots in the Predators win in Vegas on Tuesday. Rinne has opened the season on a four-game winning streak while posting 2.76 GAA and .908 SV% in the process. Tonight he faces a Panthers team on the tail-end of a back-to-back in a building where he is 22-9-1 in his last 32 starts.

Ness started his career with the Islanders before landing with the Capitals for the last four seasons. Ness has one assist in four AHL games with Tucson and got called-up because Jordan Oesterle was moved to IR.

Oesterle was questionable for Saturday’s game but his move to IR rules him out for at least one week. Aaron Ness was recalled to take Oesterele’s spot on the roster.

Lindholm left Thursday’s game after being slashed by Darren Helm but was back on the first line in Saturday’s morning skate. Lindholm has opened the 2019-20 campaign with five goals and one assist in eight games.

Weal was supposed to be a healthy scratch this afternoon but Joel Armia is a late-scratch and Weal will be back in on the third-line. He has one goal on 15 shots and one assist in six games this season.

Armia has been hot to start the season, scoring four goals with one assist in seven games but is a late-scratch this afternoon. Jordan Weal will replace him on the Canadiens fourth-line.

Gregor was a fourth-round pick in 2016 and had three points (1G / 2A) in three AHL games before being recalled. He spent last year in the WHL, scoring 43 goals with 45 assists (88 points) in 63 games.

Francouz made 34 saves on 36 shots in Colorado’s win over the Coyotes last Saturday. It was an impressive season debut for Francouz, who is now 1-2-0 with a 1.94 GAA and .944 SV% in his first three NHL appearances. The 29-year-old looks like a serviceable NHL backup and will make a good spot-start option some nights, but not tonight in Tampa Bay.

Allen gave up four goals on 29 shots in the Blues win in Ottawa on October 10th. This afternoon he is expected to make his first regular-season start at home since January 8th. He was 8-9-2 with a 3.65 GAA and .878 SV% in 20 starts at Enterprise Center last year.
