Koskinen was 25-21-6 with a 2.93 GAA and .906 SV% last year, including 1-1-0 with a 3.48 GAA and .848 SV% in two games against the Islanders. If he doesn’t play well, this timeshare will shift even more in Smith’s favour.
Reimer stopped 32 of 34 shots in the Panthers win in Washington on Saturday. The Hurricanes goaltending rotation will continue with Reimer facing the team that traded him this offseason. Florida has opened the season at 1-1-0 while averaging 32.5 shots and 3.00 goals per game.
Bishop surrendered three gaols on 30 shots in the Stars loss in St. Louis on Saturday. Anton Khudobin went Sunday in Detroit, so the Stars will go back in Bishop as they look to avoid an 0-4 start in Washington. Bishop was 1-0 vs. the Capitals and went 10-8-0 with a 2.09 GAA and .931 SV% on the road last season.
Bowey sat as a healthy scratch in the first two games but will replace Trevor Daley (lower-body) in the lineup on Tuesday. After being acquired from the Capitals last season, Bowey had four points (1G / 3A) in 17 games with the Red Wings.

Through two starts, Holtby has gone 1-0-1 while stopping 45 of the 50 shots (.900 SV% that he has faced. Tonight he’ll face a Stars team that has gone 0-3-0 while averaging just 2.00 goals for per game so far.
Winnipeg’s blueline remains in flux and Nogier could make his season debut on Tuesday. The 6-foot-3, 208 lbs. defenseman had just nine points (1G / 8A) in 74 AHL games last season. He has not recorded a point in 11 career NHL games.
