Lankinen will start in St. Louis on Monday.

Lankinen will make his 32nd start of the season when the Canucks travel to St. Louis to take on the Blues on Monday. Lankinen was spectacular in his last start, allowing just a single goal on 33 shots in a 2-1 victory over the Capitals on Saturday. The 29-year-old netminder is enjoying a successful first season with the Canucks, boasting a 17-8-6 record and a .905 SV%. Lankinen and the Canucks enter action on Monday at +115 on the money line.

Shine will make his NHL debut against the Kings on Monday.

An incredible story of perseverance, Shine will be making his NHL debut for his hometown team at 31-years-old after spending the last nine seasons with the Grand Rapids Griffins, the Red Wings AHL affiliate. He has 11 goals and 21 assists in 40 AHL games this season. Shine will draw in for Vladimir Tarasenko, who is out with an illness.

San Jose has signed Colin White to a one-year, two-way contract for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

White was a first-round pick, 21st overall, of the Ottawa Senators in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. The 27-year-old forward has 113 points (44G / 69A) in 320 career NHL games but has spent the entirety of the 2024-25 campaign in the AHL. He has nine points (4G / 5A) in 20 games with the San Jose Barracuda (AHL).

Malkin exited Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Seattle Kraken due to a lower-body injury in the first period after only 3:00 time-on-ice. The 38-year-old Malkin is averaging 18:03 time-on-ice and has 34 points (9G / 25A) in 47 games this season. Pittsburgh has recalled Jesse Puljujarvi from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) in a corresponding move.

Perunovich, a talented offensive defenseman, was the 45th overall pick of the Blues in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft but had trouble establishing his game at the NHL level with the club. He has six points (2G / 4A) in 24 games with the Blues this season and provides needed depth for the Islanders blue line.
