Backes was a healthy scratch for Game 1 but will play in Game 2 following a 4-1 loss in the series oopener. There is no official word on who Backes will replace in the lineup, but he is expected to take Danton Heinen's spot on the third line.

DeBrusk took some licks in Game 1 and missed yesterday's practice but will play in Game 2 vs. the Maple Leafs. DeBrusk, who had eight points (6G / 2A) in 12 playoff games last year, had two shots in 15:19 TOI in Game 1.





Both Maatta and Marcus Pettersson struggled in Game 1 and Jack Johnson is expected to replace Maatta in Game 2. Maata was a minus-2 in 18:44 TOI on Wednesday.

Johnson was a healthy scratch in Game 1 with Brian Dumoulin returning from injury but Johnson will likely replace Olli Maatta, who struggled in the overtime loss, on the blueline in Game 2. Johnson appeared in all 82 regular season games this season, picking up one goal and 12 assists (13 points).

Holden was a minus-2 in 13:34 TOI in Game 1 and will be replaced by Colin Miller, who was a healthy scratch in that contest.

Miller was a healthy scratch for Game 1 but is expected to replace Nick Holden in Game 2. Miller brings a little more offence to the Golden Knights blueline, having scored three goals with 26 asssits (29 points) in 65 games this season.







Tanev missed Game 1 but was on the ice for Friday's morning skate and is expected to replace Jack Roslovic in the lineup for Game 2. Tanev, who remains a game-time decision, had six points (4G / 2A) in 17 playoff games last season.

Stralman took part in the Lightning's morning skate but will not be available for Game 2 vs. the Blue Jackets. Jan Rutta will remain in the lineup with Stralman sidelined.
